There are other reasons a woman might feel pain (cervical) during sex. My ex for one had that issue due to a prior medical procedure that removed some of her cervix. Also depending on positioning during sex, things can line up a little bit easier. FYI I am not claiming to be some endowed male, just someone that is a little larger than avg(actual listed avg for men).

Are women more open to actually dating someone? I can believe women aren’t as shallow as men can be, as a generality but every side of something has their far out there asshats. I can believe that easily. It took some time for me to figure it out/understand it but luckily I have an amazing female friend who is very patient with me asking all sorts of dumb questions.

Yeah well I was starting to agree with your position until you started with the “absolutes”. There are multiple reasons people do all sorts of things. Unless you ask you will never really know will you?

MOk so again you make a statement but don’t provide any supporting evidence. So since you didn’t I took your answer and looked for support. So let’s start with putting some left and right limits on your statement. 1. Are you talking about men in the USA or are you referring to worldwide? 2. Name of study or who conducted it? 3. Taking data and presenting it out of context also makes it look like you don’t know what you are speaking about. So it looks like you are referring to a study done in Jul…

So what, now anecdotal examples are evidence or proof?

In my world that would be a no. Now might there be a half day or day that they might not, it’s possible. The thing is it is normally talked out and we figure out the best way to make things work for us. That even includes addressing things that are kinda like this. By addressing it, we dont have to worry about unknown responsibilities (for the most part as you cant figure everything).

They could just be insecure and are needing validation. People talk about women having this issue but I dont seem to hear it talked about for men.

So because he actually gave a shit about her and all of whatever time and effort she put into getting ready and actually doing. That is just a plain act of respect. Her bailing just adds proof to his pov.

I can understand her fear but what she is talking about out is not gender specific. So tell her such and depending on your personal relationship with her, you might tell her to slow down and start trying to read the person a little bit and maybe use some tact or gentleness. I am not saying she doesn’t do that already.

Maybe this is all something that should have been discussed prior to getting married, don’t you think?

I would say no you didn’t but that is my opinion. I think women should be able to have sex on whichever date they are on

I hear you and know exactly where you are coming from. The piece that I think you might be missing is that we are no longer the earlier models of a human being but have evolved and will keep on evolving into something better (imo). I understand the genetic desire to keep the “bloodline” alive and making as many offspring as you can so that keeps your gene pool out there and striving but the part you keep bringing up is the mental (psychological). A lot of that is learned behavior and as such it …

Wow how did you come to that conclusion? So I am guessing, in your mind because I argued a position that you disagree with than I must be trying to figure out how to legally have sexual with minors? Am I correct on that if so could you please explain how you made that leap? When it comes to “partners” or people I am looking to “have sex with” I drawn the line at 30 yrs old. Oh and to clarify that so you don’t make another wrong assumption, I rule out any possible partner under the age of 30. So …

The age of consent is when the state considers the individual “mature” enough to make decisions about when they can have sex. The Romeo and Juliet law is to save kids in high school, like the senior dating/sleeping with a freshman from when the senior graduates/turns 18. It is kinda the same as having a pre-existing relationship that prevents legal charges. Also according to Arkansas law a 16 yr old can have sex with a 18 yr old regardless of whether they were dating beforehand. I made the comme…

For all those saying rape, check the actual age of consent before you blast. Arkansas has this nice weird thing that several states do that dictates the maximum age difference between partners which while I can see what I think they intended to do could actually screw someone over who is 30 sleeping with a 25 yr old because that violates the state’s maximum age difference. Oh and another correction for those wanting truth in labeling. The victim wasn’t one of her students, he was a student at th…

Actually no she didn’t rape him, but if you want to fix the title she didn’t kiss or have sex with one of her students. She only taught up to 5th grade. The victim was 17 yrs old which is above the age of consent in Arkansas . Does that mean that her relationship with him was ok, I don’t have enough information on the case to say yes or no. Do I think it was inappropriate yes I think it was inappropriate. In states that have an age of consent at 16, I think those states need to write specific la…

Well you seem to have already decided your point is the only point and the only correct point, but I will add a couple of things and let you have it. A. OP was not being gender neutral as the title talks about a woman a sexually (still waiting for that explanation) and physically assaulting a cop. B. They then state about what a male cop can and cannot do and what a male or female can be charged with, sexually. At no point was any of OP’s statements gender neutral. C. They don’t need to be gende…

Again, yes women commit violent sexual crimes in India. I never said they didn’t. If you take the time to go look at actual news reporting and other documentation besides just who was charged with what, you will be able to see that. I also have several friends that are Indian and have moved to the States or are still living in India and that provides me with a better perspective than just using my own. You don’t have to agree with me and that is totally fine. All I am trying to say is yes old gi…

I think you have widened the conversation just a bit. I was just specifically talking about India. I also never claimed that men are not the subject of rape as well. All I said is that the majority of persons raped in India are women.

I don’t know the laws as you have cited them but am more than willing to accept as fact what you said in statement #1. India has huge problems when it comes to rape, sexual assault, and violence against women, period. I am not saying that men don’t get assaulted or raped or harassed. What I am saying is that you need to look at the disparity in the numbers of men vs women who are raped, or victims of sexual violence. This is not a pussypass issue, this is a cultural issue in how India deals with…

While in today’s society a 9 and 11 yr old would still be held somewhat accountable for making the same kinds of false statements, I think you need to look at the timeframe and the different levels of responsibility and “maturity” (not the right word but can’t find a better one). Kids back then were very self reliant and were left alone to care for a younger sibling for extended periods of time. What those girls did was to coordinate with each other and other girls or intentionally cause the dea…

While your argument seems fairly valid on its face I would really like to see a bit more “scientific type” research rather than a blog post or a Sun article that says the researchers name and article once in it.

If ppl started acting like adults and get over all the judging bs life could be so much easier. If you want the freedom to do as you please than you shouldn’t expect to be able to hold someone else to a different standard. If someone wants to sleep with someone that is their decision and nobody else’s (assuming all involved are single or have that understanding with their partner). IMO if a woman is worried about being “pumped and dumped” than she should take her time and feel out the potential …

I disagree with your main premise. Just use Websters dictionary and look up the word obsessed. Obsession is when you every day “wants” lead to behavior that becomes detrimental to your everyday life. Take for example “sex addiction”. That is an established thing that both men and women suffer from. That would be considered an obsession.

My first question is, have you actually read the entire documents that you posted. In the paper about fetal pain (as for pro-choice bs pro-life, it doesn’t matter because as they said they are focusing on the science not their opinions) they suggest that there is a POSSIBILITY that a fetus MIGHT feel pain. Nowhere in the papers did anyone of the researchers state that a fetus feels pain at X weeks. First off they said that they were going to change the definition of what pain is. Next they decid…

Two things. Number one: men have a different way of things. That whole “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” thing. Men will try to fix your problems rather than listen to them. Number two: it sounds like no matter what his age is he is still about mentally/emotionally 14-16. I would highly recommend moving on and finding someone emotionally and mentally developed. Best of luck.

While I agree about what the hell is in it for women giving up the right to vote or not being able to vote I do question some of your other points. Where do you get your information that women had to do 95% of the child rearing and/or how far back are you going to validate that number (500bce, 100ad, 1300s, 1800, 2000s). Again with the request for data and timeframe for the statement about it being the expectation for obedience and that “nobody gave a shit” as long as there wasn’t permanent dama…

You are correct, there is no such thing as a 16 wk embryo. It is a fetus at that point. I misspoke as I was reading about embryonic process when I was developing my argument. I will also agree that physiologically there is no difference between a wanted and an unwanted pregnancy but you could also use the term intended and unintended as pregnancy as well. So let me just respond with this. The fetus cannot determine pain until at or after 24 weeks of gestation. This is because the experience of p…

Here are some articles for your perusal. If you notice, a large majority of pregnancies don’t even survive long enough for the woman to know that they are pregnant. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/1970983/ https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/322634#miscarriage-rates-by-week

Sentience is not defined by the ability to feel pain. Sentience means being self aware. So are you saying that a 16 wk embryo is self aware?

So after reading your comment and than the single reference that you cite, your argument holds less weight than the evidence for the previous statement. The 24 wk statement is developed from numerous studies that states the fetus cannot feel/understand pain until the appropriate portions of the brain that deal with pain are developed. Your “source” posits that the actual “feeling” of pain may be able to occur earlier but would not be able to be “understood” due to the missing brain functionality…

I hate to say it but my gender has this “do as I say, not as I do” philosophy and I can’t stand it. A woman should be free to live her life as she sees fits, and if that means multiple partners or a very active sex life than it is nobodies business but hers and her partners. Men should stay 80-90ish% the hell out of the abortion debate. I use that number because pregnancy is a two person accomplishment. As a man, if my partner got pregnant, I would want to have some input into the decision. That…

I totally get the “dark” parts (med retired Vet) and have used that technique a few times myself. I ended up deciding to stop trying. I mean I would go out and meet people and all that but I stop getting myself worked up about it. I mean I am nothing special but nothing bad either. I am just an average guy who is ahead of the Bell Curve, but not a lot. I decided that when the Universe thought I should have a partner/SO it would see to it. Ended up working out pretty good for me.

Ok so I guess this is just a personal issue of mine but I don’t see jobs as either masculine or feminine. It is just a job. One of the major problems I see (sorry opinions leaking out) is our need to label shit. Can’t a job just be a job. I mean it doesn’t matter what your gender is, just do the work. Yes and before ppl start whining about a few very specific jobs, ie pregnancy surrogate, I am talking in generalities. Yes there are exceptions to damn near every rule. It we just started treating …

As a man I will make this answer very simple. Yes. If you are just looking to get laid, that is not dating. Dating is getting to know the person, finding out your compatibility on a multiple of different topics as well as personality…..etc.

I kinda agree with the position that women should be able to do all those things that men can do early on in their lives, ie having an active sex life. Finding out about who they are for themselves and what they like rather than being told this is how they have to be. Now this comments is so sad but kinda true. There are women out there that seem to view feminism as a “tool” to overthrow the Patriarchy because: women are always right, it is all men’s fault, women don’t “need” men as they can do …

Ok, from the male side I would recommend getting out now. If he doesn’t have the trust in you to realize that you aren’t going to do anything to jeopardize your relationship but instead seems to be looking for reasons to accuse you of something than things will just get worse as time goes on. I actually have a female friend who’s husband did the exact same thing. He accused her of cheating because she had a meal with a male coworker (working dinner). The pain and hurt he has caused her is inexcu…

Hmm somewhat disagree. Lots of those (imo and exp.) that don’t want their SO to have friends of the opposite sex have something on their past (bad exp, previous SO really crushed their heart by cheating…etc) and have not ever truly gotten over it. Their is an insecurity issue that they have not dealt with with their current SO. Not same that is always the case. I know some SOs that preemptively do it so it won’t cause a problem. Yeah, while it is a free world and you can believe what you want when you start making absolute statements you are wrong. I have more than one female friend that I spend individual time with and I have no desires on them either romantically or physically. There have been women in my past who I was friends with who I was attracted or interested in but the cool thing about being an adult is that you can have those conversations and depending on the outcome and the other person still maintain those…

That sounds like a really good and thought out for plan and probably really like I would pick. A couple of things to remember, your counselor will be required to take action. Tell them that you are just looking for advice and how you would like to proceed. If you don’t want them to take any action, make sure and say so. This is going to be the best chance you have to effect the path forward for this incident, so make sure you ask/say anything to comes to mind. Next, just be aware if the counselo…

Not the best place for advice but I will toss some out there. First of all understand this is coming from an adult, probably someone you would call really old…lol. 1. Keep copies of ALL interactions with Oliver. Texts, chat logs, voicemails and write down (with time and date) of personal interactions as well as who else was there that witnessed. 2. I have been through 2 divorces and haven’t run into that problem but have had friends (both male and female, straight and queer) that have had that happen to them. Hell one of them had a small dog and it was treated just like a small child in the separation. It isn’t the standard but it does occur more often than it should. Another issue is parent alienation by one parent towards the other. That is just all the crap/bad mouthing normally of the custodial parent towards the non-custodial parent. …

It sounds like you are basically and deep down a good person. If you keep using your brain when making decisions and know the difference between right and wrong you should do just fine. Remember even if somethings are legal that still doesn’t make them right. Now go on and lead your life. Give me an update as you get older. I thought the same things when I was your age and was really worried. Now I am a male over 50 and am still trying to make the right decision in most all walks of my life.

How can you have no problem with the disrespect shown to someone’s grave by using the marker as a stool. I could see using it as some background or foreground material but just plopping you ass on top of it for a picture is just plain rude.
