’d been on over 100+ dates in ~ 2 years thanks to online dating. That sounds expensive as fuck. I'm glad you eventually found success, though.

Yup. When I was still dating, if you had picked me up from the San Francisco Bay Area dangling like a Mii avatar and dropped me into rural Alabama and expected me to thrive there, I would absolutely fail. I'm not white, not Christian, not conservative, and I have a problematic temper when threatened or offended. I would not have gotten anywhere socially, let alone romantically. The thing with modern culture is that a lot of socialization is increasingly online. Before the internet, people only h…

No, I didn't mean it like that. 😅 Besides, in 2022, covid happened, we still didn't deal with the refugee waves earlier and now we are facing the next refugee waves with Ukraine and prices are exploding on top of the fear that we'll soon struggle to find bread. The governments are at fault, yes. I wonder for example how USA could deliver 20 or more trucks of weaponry to northern Syria but fails to deliver weapons to Ukraine. Something smells definitely fishy. My hope meanwhile is that Russia bri…

I still have zero "game" ("game" meaning ability to cold approach, not the pick-up-artist meaning), and very little skill at flirting. Isn't this what online dating is for? I thought it was to avoid all the "single or not, available or not" bullshit so they can just skip to the "feeling for chemistry" part? OLD eliminates the need for "game".

You just have to acknowledge the distinction between "would I?/wouldn't I?" vs "I want to/I don't want to". For example, if you can be in the mindset, "I would fuck [random attractive lady], but I honestly don't even want to. I'm not interested.", then you're good to go.

Just talking to them as a friend isn’t going to help at all with flirting Well, actually it can help if the women initiate the flirting. Succeed or fail, XP is still gained either way. This only applies to guys who actually get flirted with. They can just engage in innocent, normal conversations, then once in a while get hints of encouragement from a person who wants something more.

TL;DR: "It's the government's fault for allowing people to pursue opportunity, ambition, and fantasy. A saner, more restrictive government would protect the family unit from temptation and stamp down any inclinations toward natural selection because competition should be avoided as much as possible." Did I get that right?

I like this perspective. If some guy went around and walked in a mall or some other public place and found 1 in 5 of the women attractive, I'd believe him without question, despite not actually knowing what his personal standards actually are.

Oh, definitely not. I don't need to back up when defending my property. An aggressive approach like that justifies an aggressive response.

I really wish I was able to handle myself with the kind of composure that this man displayed. When in a confrontation, I lose most of my ability to even speak and instead I become drooling with rage.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
