Recently posted to Will's Official FB. Thoughts on a man who does what he did then apologizes publicy about his actions?I agree. Violence is always a low value behaviour and is indicative of a low value man. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/03/22 01:38 AM
What does FDS think of Will Smith hitting Chris Rock to defend Jada Pinkett Smith?I agree with everything you have said. A man who acts violently in public is likely to also act violently in private. His “apology” was not an apology - he simply excuses a violent act “in the name of love”. The whole scene is extremely triggering and people’s acceptance of it is very disturbing. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 28/03/22 05:42 AM
To those who were cheated on and took back their exes for a “second chance” how did it change you emotionally/mentally? What gave you the strength to leave?I took my cheating ex back - it was awful. The warm and fuzzy feeling which I had about our relationship before I discovered the cheating was replaced with a deep hurt and a deep resentment towards him. Because I forgave bad behaviour, he then took the opportunity to escalate his other bad behaviours (alcohol abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse). The one benefit to taking him back is that I now know that I should never take a cheater back. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/12/21 09:57 AM
Family Matters. Pay close attention to his expectations for you joining his family, and pay equally close attention to his expectations for him joining your family.Thank you for writing this - it’s such excellent advice! A strategy which my ex used to separate me from my family and friends was to cause us to spend a lot of time seeing his parents. It began gradually but then it became a habit to see them every time I saw him - an effect being that I didn’t have time to see my own family. At first it was flattering, but now I see that it was a technique used to control me and to limit my exposure to people outside his circle. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 17/10/21 11:41 PM
Absolutely heartbreaking. This needs to stop.I’m sorry he did this to you. I’m glad you got out xx | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 17/01/21 09:22 PM
What in the living f*ck is this thread? 17yo gets slapped in the face during sex and "it sounds like he's a good guy"?!It’s extremely concerning that these commentators are condoning abuse. If he’s hitting her, when he’s only 17, imagine what he will be doing when he’s older... A mother’s instinct should be listened to and she should explain to her daughter that her boyfriend is not exhibiting normal, loving behaviour. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 04/01/21 10:51 PM
Why do guys on first dates ask “can you cook?”Omg this has happened to me on pretty much every first date I’ve been on. These men want a mother. Time to move on! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/10/20 06:58 AM
Woman who doesn't realize that she's in a potentially emotionally abusive situation receives the advice that it's not okay to ghost. Why do we always have to be courteous to men, even when they blatantly violate clearly set boundaries? GHOST HIM.I can’t believe she’s only known him for a month... imagine what he will be like in a year (or 10!)! I hope she finds FDS... | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/10/20 05:02 AM
I think I was assaulted. I need supportYou were sexually assaulted. What happened to you was illegal. Do you have a therapist you could talk to? Your college counselling service may be able to help xx | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 21/09/20 12:16 AM
Anytime I hear my friend say "I can't" or "my boyfriend won't let me" my blood starts to boil.I was this woman. I was in a controlling and abusive relationship but I couldn’t see it. I lost lots of friends along the way, and it took A LOT of work to repair the damage done to the friendships which survived. Be there for your friend. She will need you (a strong female friend) when she realises how destructive her relationship is and tries to leave. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 20/09/20 04:07 AM

How can I level up as someone with severe depression and PTSD?I have not experienced the same childhood trauma as you (I am sorry this happened to you), but I have been in an abusive romantic relationship. The most important thing is to be kind to yourself. If you started a book - that’s amazing! If you didn’t finish it, that’s OK too. The same with your blog and exercise. | 27 | Had a thought today: Society conditions women to be insecure.Yes! So true. I haven’t dated for 18 months and it’s been the best 18 months of my life. I’m happier, healthier, more in tune with myself and my body than I have ever been. Most people don’t believe me when I tell them this - they seem to think I can only be happy, healthy and in tune with myself if I have a man in my life... | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/09/20 03:31 AM
Weekly FDS Chat, Check-In, Quick Questions Answered September 1 2020Hi everyone, I’m new to this thread (and to Reddit!). I spent my Sunday afternoon reading this thread and I love everything which I’ve seen. So many of my exes have been LVM, NVM, or time wasters in general. The last LTR I had was with an alcoholic narcissist who destroyed my self esteem. Since then, I have dated (and accepted poor behaviour from) so many LVM/ NVM. I’m so glad I found this thread - it has already helped me so much 💜 | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 07/09/20 06:09 AM
