I don't see it either; I see it as a person holding up the train because they're an entitled arsehole, not because of their gender. But eh, it's the unfortunate nature of this sub to post things that aren't really gender related, only that the protagonist is a woman.

Rape kits only depict whether or not penetration occurred. You're only looking at this from the falsely accused side - take a moment to consider those who are true victims. So in essence, you're happy for criminals to roam free in society because their victims didn't get proof. Wait until you're the victim of one of these crimes.

There's rape kits but not all victims have those done. A lot of it goes unpunished. What do you suggest to those DV victims whose violent partners have restricted their phone access or even smashed their phone?

No one wants to admit they're in a DV situation with no way out. That's why there's campaigns about speaking out about it. This is helpful for most of the population. However, as with most things in life, there are liars and those who like the play the victim and make up stories. I disagree with those people misusing DV campaigns for their own selfish means. Despite that, DV is quite prevalent and is usually kept behind closed doors.

What evidence can you have of constant choking? Being thrown around? Some people don't bruise easily. I would want the person who's been violent towards another to suffer the consequences. DV and rape aren't black and white cases in regards to evidence. You can't treat it as such.
