I really believe the best way is to move some heavy weight on bench, squat, deadlift, overhead press and then do some accessory work on your glamour muscles (biceps, calves, delts, pecs). So I think the best option would be something like SL 5X5 with some curls and pull ups thrown in. the most important principles of gaining muscle according to my experience: a) dicking around with dumbbells does not make you big. train with intention. b) if you don't have the diet right, forget about having any…

Idk about that. but being afraid of weight is an attribute commonly found in those moving a lot of it and thus I recommend against that attitude.

chances are you will gain some fat, as well. The best way to lose that down the line is to eventually eat at a caloric deficit for a little while. i.e. Burn 2500 calories but eat 2000. Or, to simplify: A bulk/cut cycle. yep, fat gain is pretty much inevitable. but i always keep in mind that it takes months to build muscle, and weeks to lose fat. fat is transient, muscle is persistent.

if one just puts in 5 minutes of research on how to deadlift with proper form they'll be fine

however all men and women are in the gym for the exact same reason as one another; they feel insecure about some part of their body and are working to improve it complete and utter bullshit
