Despite many examples given of her attacking him historically (and none given of him doing anything to her), they still say “the couple were in a violent relationship”, which to me implies it was two-way. In the UK, that's barely ever discussed, and everyone clumsily uses the Uncontrolled stat - mostly because it makes for better headlines, and fits with the overall narrative that men are surpressing and holding back women. I'm sure there are still a few companies where there is a genuine pay gap - but as many others have said here, overall it's closed to almost zero, and there are cases where it swings the other way in favour of women.
