Be careful with that optimism. When I saw it a few hours ago the top comment was go to therapy. Edit: Actually looks like it got down voted into oblivion, or deleted.

Well, you can go ahead learn the following life lessons Actions have consequences Don't just do something because it seems cool Not everyone has the same set of circumstances Or you can just keep saying you've changed and most likely do it again. I'm also failing to see how you being on the road for 8 days at a time will bolster her confidence in you.

Slightly offtopic, but I googled that womans name just to see what the actual circumstances were. Nothing too interesting or justifiable, but I did find this: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2013/04/n-y-prenup-battle-winner-destroyed-family-with-affair-cousin-says/ Neither Elizabeth Petrakis nor Steve Houraney immediately responded to ABC News' requests for comment today, but Petrakis told the New York Post that the affair was "absolutely not" what destroyed her marriage. What a world we l…

OT: wtf is it with reddit and marriage counseling? Why are people so helpless these days that the best solution is always to seek a professional's advice? It's not marriage counseling specifically. The answer to nearly everything is go see a specialist. You see it in a lot of other places. Any kind of legal question? Consult a lawyer. Tax question that could be answered by typing it into google (or hell, even just looking at the form)? Get a CPA. Just to be clear, I'm not saying these aren't nee…

Watch the prohibition documentary on Netflix. It's women/progressives pulling all the same shit they do now.

Generally some last second cardio to fit into the dress they like. Another way to tell if it's Valentines day is if you wake up with 13 matches on Tinder.

Time will tell, but China isn't in nearly as rosey of a place people are talking them up to be. A lot of their growth numbers are completely fictitious or the equivalent of digging holes to then fill. Combine that with their willingness to let tens of millions just starve and then you have recipe for a stagnant declining country once things go wrong.

Wolfgang Ballinger? Was he genetically engineered and set on a path to be the frat president of the jock fraternity at Cornell or something?

There's a chance that this was a random and one off thing, but this reeks of the classic "female friends egging on one friend to cheat on boyfriend". I would be shocked if they weren't talking up this guy for weeks to her.

By sending the text, I wanted to make sure she wasn't going to make up false stories and spread them behind my back. Judging from the outcome, not only was this not necessary, it was the move of a beta. I don't know what you sent, but I can already say that by sending it it will be perceived that you admitted you hurt her or were trying to intimidate her not to say anything. Then following it up by fucking her and doing "really kinky shit" makes this an excellent FR in poor choices.

Exactly, this could hurt these higher earners and help women more than everyone thinks. Let's say the guy is in a 40% tax bracket. After divorce he can make it so the wife is paid 300k a year alimony in exchange of low child support. The man would have paid 120k in taxes while the wife would pay like half (just ballparking). With this avenue closed, the guy is going to have to earn around 490k in income just to pay the wife the full 300. She will be paying less in taxes overall and see more cash…

Lol man you're in for a surprise if you think all those women are on BC. Or are open to abortions themselves.

But beyond love, loyalty is also bought and paid for in business. I recently screwed over a client of mine and destroyed his business. In all fairness, I didn't violate attorney-client privilege or confidence. And I didn't violate any other fiduciary duties. I know this because I heavily researched it and got a letter from the Bar about the matter telling me I could do what I wanted. And from that I was able to create a successful business where I get a small chunk of change every months that co…

Find a new job and keep things a lot more superficial. Throw in random harmless tidbits about your life. From what you've described and how you've described you're the office weirdo that spouts out funny lines.

Exactly. She doesn't actually believe it, but she's willing to type it out for the sympathy and to appear deep.

Psycopath hasn't been a diagnosis for decades. It's been antisocial personality disorder for a while now.

Those are completely different scenarios than "yeah I'm not going to pay child support and don't want to see the kid so now I don't have to pay child support".

Most states don't allow people to just waive child support like that since the strong independent woman's plan is usually to just instantly go on welfare.

We already know she's doing more than giving handjobs. The only reason the OP knows is because some guy gave him shit because he used her services. This is how the gf explained it away: Yes. In fact, that guy at the gym was a once client that got pushy and she never saw again. I switched gyms and am over it. He's the fuckboy that has to pay for it, right? Notice how what she said sounds like she denied ever blowing him, but never actually did.

Now I have a lot of experience, a lot of sexual history (no diseases or pregnancies tho, woo hoo safe sex) I always like when girls throw the safe sex thing it. It's so incredibly easy to convince a girl to go without a condom that there's no way someone with a 60+ count has used one more than 20 times.

An egomaniac who sets up impossible metrics and drives a company into the ground is nothing new. The difference is that CEO is rarely lauded as a strong and powerful man that was either setup to fail, or have history re-written by the media where in fact they didn't do a bad job at all.

Keep in mind a lot of the experiences here are from younger people living in liberal cities and probably the more liberal areas of those liberal cities. They then try to pick up girls in clubs or trendy bars.

Well, no shit. Girls love it when they find a guy who's successful with women. It's preselection, a basic sociological concept. If a man is a playa, that means he has qualities women like. Lol that's not it. She's just lying for the sisterhood.

One important thing to remember is that businesses aren't cleaning burning efficient engines of commerce. Everyday you see someone making a comment about how a business wouldn't do something because it's inefficient or wasteful, not considering the human factor of not caring or knowing better. With this, then throw in the "I know better than them" factor and a lot of doors open up.

This is exactly what you shouldn't do. No laws were broken, and the turn over at this place is probably sufficiently high that a lawsuit is just another line on their attorneys list.

Honestly, from your description, doesn't sound like she really even had a job to do... How can you screw that up? You'd be surprised what people are capable of.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
