I've been in the divorce and divorce_men subreddits for so long I recognize your post of encouragement haha. Thanks though, these do help.

Cleaning the house, cleaning the yard, used to go to the gym before lockdown, but that's not possible at the moment.

But the whole system is rigged. It really is.

I'm the same. I didn't realize how depressed I was being married to her until she left.

Hey bro, do you need a profile review? (absolutely no sarcasm intended). There are subreddits for each OLD app, along with tips on getting matches. I've found a lot of success on Hinge, and just lately with Tinder (Seems recent, maybe because of pandemic?) I mean, yeah I'm lucky enough to have gotten a few matches, but because of covid19 nothing physical is happening. It's tough to see the one you thought you'd spend the rest of your life with already moving on, I'm going through that myself. I …

Yeah dude, I'm telecommuting now because of the coronavirus so I'm spending way more time in the house just trying to clean up any trace of her, etc, but it's not easy and I feel my anxiety shoot up and then have to sit down just overwhelmed with sadness.

Same here, dude. The kiddos are with their mom now and while I've got my dog it just isn't the same. I guess I'll just take advantage and clean the house for when they get back.

Hahaha I was rereading my original post and thought the same thing. No I don’t believe that any more, it was all her. I was far from perfect, but I did the best I could for her and she still left. I also got to thinking how messed up it was that she leaves me for this guy who’s got all his ducks in a row, got that cabin in big bear, doesn’t need to deal with the stresses of chasing kids, or paying a mortgage because he already dealt with that when he was my age. Now apparently he just sits back …

Yeah they hung out with each other fairly frequently. Even her mom noticed her absence. Teachers, counselors, etc. What else should have clued me in was that, especially in that area they all kind of intermarried. Like, counselors divorcing counselors, and marrying other counselors. Same with teachers.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
