You know 19 is a teenage right? You know that fact is independent of when you perceive adolescence or adulthood. Right? You know that your inability to separate the two makes and the refusal to acknowledge that 19 is a teen makes you incorrect. Only you are dribbling on about adolescence and adulthood, all while patting yourself on the back for saying 19 isn’t a teen. But holy shit, I can’t believe I spent so much time on someone so pathetic.

How are they different? Morphologically the brain continues developing until approximately 30 years of age. The prefrontal cortex which assumes risk assessment and decision making based on perceived risks marches towards maturity subsequently more each year. You do not get to argue the etiology of the word or suffix without accepting the etiological definition. 19 is a teen. Period. End of discussion. Honestly, why are you obsessed with this? Do you have a teen fetish and 19 is the line you draw…

This is the appeal to motive fallacy. “Omg you must be a pedo creep if you think they’re young adults lol”. Explain to me the thought process and belief system that compels you to not only convince yourself, but attempt to convince strangers online, that nineteen is not a teenager. Yes, 19 is the oldest of the teens, it is around that time when juveniles enter adulthood, congratulations on figuring that out. It is still a teenager and you're still weird as hell for trying to tell people that 19 …

Bro, 19 is a teenager and your desperate attempt to try and convince anyone that they aren't makes you reek of a pedophile or some mega creep. 19 is a teenager, I didn't make the rules and you don't some how magically get to change 19 to not a teen but insisting that you do is either sheer stupidity, rationalizing some gross thought process, or I don't even know what. 13-19 is a teenager. That's as much of a fact as 2+2=4. Maybe stop eating paint or get a MRI of your brain for a tumor because sa…

Idk how dumb you are but if you were any dumber you probably wouldn't be able to use the phone or computer, whatever you're on. A teenager is defined as anyone whose age has the suffix '-teen'. Which is ages 13-19, since the word 19 is spelled as 'nineteen' and ends with the suffix 'teen' which qualifies 19 year olds as teenagers. The mental gymnastics on putting 19 yr olds with "young adults" and not teenagers is incredible.

Newsflash, your prefrontal cortex doesn't finish developing until your late 20's to early 30's which helps a lot with proper risk assessment. Acting like people are adults because they hit some arbitrary age of consent versus when their body is actually finished developing is not only ignorant but as you put it, one of the dumbest things i've read all day. Legally 18 is an adult, biologically you're not there until 30. Massive age gaps are creepy, go suckle on andrew tates teet. Newsflash, 18 is…

They're both creepy. Fetishizing teenagers is creepy. Dating teenagers as a middle aged person (regardless of gender) is creepy. The point of this shouldn't be to give Leo a pass because people give teenage pornstars a pass, but to acknowledge that both of these things take advantage of what are essentially children in an adult body.

I shadowed some surgeons for a while. As soon as the patient is out, their demeanor totally changes, "What the fuck is this thing? Is this even a human?" I think it's a power play and a coping mechanism, you have to turn off an empathy switch to some degree to deal. Now I'm absolutely not condoning it, though it's part of a "culture" that goes unchecked and can get out of hand. It's not malpractice if the surgeon calls you a retard while you're under anesthesia but still accomplishes everything …
