"Majority of people would prefer their sexual partner be in shape, they don't give a shit about themselves or trying to improve themselves and that's 90% of the problem." Yes, that's true. But almost no one on /r/theredpill or /r/incel is going to applaud or support anyone who does this.

Redpill and incel posters have their flaws, but fat acceptance is not one of them.

I can't speak for all men, but in my case, I've tried to love women who I wasn't strongly physically attracted to, in the hopes that I would grow to love them (because I recognized their other positive virtues--intelligence, kindness, conscientiousness). It didn't work. My love for them didn't increase beyond its initial levels. My advice would be to find a man who is strongly physically attracted to you.

Yeah, I'm with you. She apparently weighed 240 lbs. How do you sleep through someone weighing 240 lbs climbing on top?

You may well be fun and interesting. But a lot of women are fun and interesting. Why spend much time with you, when a guy could be spending time with a woman who was fun, interesting, and wants to have sex with him? (Or at least hasn't ruled it out.)

One thing that helped me was to only judge myself on what is completely within my control. While you can influence a women's behavior, ultimately, whether she likes you or not is up to her, and outside of your control. What is wholly in your control are the actions you take. Did you introduce your self? Did you attempt to banter? Did you invite her out? Those are completely under your control, and so those are the only things you should judge yourself on. Keep track of your results, adjust your …

I was terrible too, and I'm still not great, but I'm good enough now that I enjoy social dancing and no longer feel like I'm tormenting my dance partners. Here were the keys for me: 1) Accept that it's a long term project. I've been at it for about 6 months, and only now am feeling somewhat comfortable dancing. 2) Dance frequently, as in at least 2-3 times/week. Less frequently, and you will forget what you learn from one lesson to the next, and you will feel as if you're making no progress. 3) …

BTW, how far is she from 18?

Are you sure you fall within the age of consent laws? Are you sure she's 17? Are you okay with tolerating the disapproval of her parents/neighbors? If not, are you willing/able to move out if it goes sour enough? If you can answer yes to those questions, I say go for it. If the answer is no, then I would say wait until she's older.

I know this is low of me, but "HAH! HAH!" I bet she had plenty of opportunity to date guys who would've made great husbands and fathers. But she chose an alcoholic asshole. I feel no sympathy.

I think you've already won his interest. I can't speak for him, but here's what would keep my interest: Take care of yourself. Eat right, exercise. Be prompt. Show up when you say you will. If you can't make it, call. Be intellectually curious. You don't have to have the same interests as him, but you should have some passions that you can talk about at length. Be independent. Don't depend on him to make all the plans. Be kind. Avoid gossip, and avoid cutting remarks. Be adventurous. Be open to …

Um, no, he got banned for calling other members of the reddit "crazy". I don't see anything wrong with banning people who won't be civil. Banning you seems to be an overreaction, but who knows what else you had been saying up to that point.

Good luck! Just as you're probably not attracted to many of the guys you meet, many guys will not be attracted to you. So, don't take it personally if someone doesn't respond the way you would like. One mental strategy that helped me was to judge myself not on how women respond (which I can influence, but not control), but on the actions I take (which are completely under my control). If you focus on the process, eventually the results will take care of themselves.

WTF, unless we both went into the relationship with the expectation that there would be no sex, hell yes, I would be dissatisfied. Especially if she insisted on monogamy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
