This happened to my brother in law. The insisted his wife come in and approve it. When I had mine done I actually had my wife write a letter saying she was okay with it just in case they bawked. All that said...they never asked and I'm snipped as of about three weeks ago.

Well that doesn't sound so bad. Thanks for the detailed response man. I appreciate it. I have booked the day of the procedure and the following day off. Combined with the weekend I should have about 4 days before I need to go back to work. Honestly, my big plan was to sit around and play video games for a few days. I was hoping I'd be able to sit up and do that. Seems like my biggest concern is that my little ones (2 and 4) will climb on me and stomp on my marbles as they so often do.

I don't see how calling a spade a spade is a bad thing. mutilation verb (used with object), mu·ti·lat·ed, mu·ti·lat·ing. to injure, disfigure, or make imperfect by removing or irreparably damaging parts: Vandals mutilated the painting. 2.to deprive (a person or animal) of a limb or other essential part. I agreed that speed isn't a good argument for pleasure. Which is why I didn't and wouldn't have made that argument. Many folks who had it done at a young age don't seem to have any trouble with it. That's cool. I think some folks tend to have problems with it because of the violation of trust. UTIs are an issue. But not frequent enough, nor difficult to treat enough to warrant a surgery be done. Especially in boys.
