I think this is a good point. I do plan on having children and I think its worthwhile. To me, having children with someone is the "real" marriage and I intend to love and support the mother of my children for the rest of our lives. The contractual marriage just seems like a lopsided scam to me, particularly when one party is bringing so much more to the table financially. I simply don't understand why I would do it.
