yup, everything you stated my ex did. Also, watch for the projection, if she blames you for things, you did not do it means she is doing that. They tend to tell you the truth by claiming you are doing what they are doing.

This is normal. I had the same one-word answer. "good, yes, ok" . Give it time soon that will go away and then the conversations will go way better. We have to remember that for them is weird. Before they could talk to you at any time now its strange. Try to ask questions that cant be answered with one word. "Hey what was the best thing about school, or your day. " Find a show you can watch together. This way you can talk about it with them.

Hey, I was in the same boat. But it was only 2 weeks after we split that she brought the guy she was cheating on me with to the kids. I know it sucks! But you need to be the better parent. Unless the guy is a danger to the kids there is nothing you can do. I know it hurts but you can't let it get to you and you cant show her that it does. As for the money try to change how you look at it. Think of it as a bill or something. Once I changed the way I looked at it I don't think about it as much any…
