Think about if you had self doubted and never asked her out. Think about all the times youve seen a stranger, and taken the easy way out and did nothing. Failure to ask random girls out is self sabotage.

A caring, nurturing, warm-hearted personality. Nothing turns me off a girl more then when they are demeaning, vindictive, or cruel.. i think its evolutionary for us to be attracted to kindness in our partners..

could you elaborate more

Thanks. Yeah I recently caught myself projecting my insecurity and stopped immediately. I think that was one of the only times she's seen that out of me. I've always been fine with not overvaluing (putting a girl on a pedestal).. until it comes to when she is interacting with other guys. Thats when I start showing insecurity and valuing her more than me. could you elaborate on keeping polarity?

Dude you hit the nail on the fucking head. She has major self esteem issues. she had a nasty breakup a couple of months ago and is still into the guy, but I dont think he wants her back. She suggested fwb.

I wanted to ask the same thing... like getting a fwb isnt like winning a gold medal or something jeez.. I guess all guys are at different stages of their pickup game.

There was a study that found people who smiled in the mirror every morning suffered from less depression and were generally more happy/positive. Just the act of smiling releases happy chemicals in your brain. Good advice OP

Did you ever get feelings for this person?

Ive had several dates with kiss closes that amounted to nothing. Just move on - abundance mentality.

Some girls just flat out don't initiate texts. Man up and do it yourself, but be weary of coming off as too needy...e.g sending 3 messages to her 1, and know when the conversation isnt flowing

Youve been with a number of girls. I know tall attractive guys who get absolutely no women. Why? Because they dont put themselves out there and put up mental roadblocks. The fact you have already gotten females before should be enough proof that your height (or whatever other insecurities) don't matter.

Agreed

Any sign of cruelty or deliberate mean spiritedness is a instant turn off. I think its evolutionary that we look for caring affection traits in women - as to ensure our offspring are well looked after.

Try stopping or atleast cutting down masturbating for a bit. Definitely will boost your libido. I had a girl who I was attracted to and was eager to fuck me. I never pursued it and set it up because once I had masturbated that day the energy or will for me to follow through just wasn't there.

To clarify I didn't end the fling we just mutually stopped talking and hanging out. It died. That was about 9 months. Yeah I get what you're saying. I didn't lash out at her though. I was just like "well thanks for the memorie, goodbye". I told her a few days before that I would always care for her. Anyways I had to delete her off snap chat for the interest of my mental health. It would just remind me of her all the time. We are still friends on Facebook though I just unfollowed her. At this poi…

Nah we met on tinder a year ago. Had a really deep connection after that. About 5 months later it faded out. I tried to reconnect what we had and she wasn't feeling it. Simple as that.

Nah we met on tinder and were very serious. I was the only guy in her life. I let her go and almost a year later here I am. She doesn't want me back. I feel like crying.

Personally id feel pretty shitty taking a girl home who was really drunk when I was sober... again depends on how drunk she is/what are the circumstances.

What the other guy said. Youre pushing too quickly to make the relationship sexual. She isn't ready for that. "Come to my place" is really forward. Ask her out for drinks or coffee again before you drop that line.

Yeah im starting to not like this movie idea. We have been friends for a long time but we have talked 10x more over text and in phone than in person. I've really only seen her in person a few times. Tbh i only liked the idea of a movie so we can sit at the back of some shitty film and cuddle/makeout. Thats what we have done before anyway. Its like the least awkward place for public affection.

I really wish I could take her home. I still live at home (i'm only 19) and our place is tiny. There's almost no privacy. I might just throw out the movie idea all together. I liked it initially because it gives us time to just sit with eachother and cuddle/hold hands in somewhat privacy. Now I'm thinking we just go to the art gallery, get something to eat, walk on the waterfront, and enjoy the view.

I really should have mentioned. We have hooked up before, we had a thing a few months ago and did everything but sex. I recontacted her and wanted to get our thing started again. This is our first time seeing eachother in over six months. But yeah we're just going to the movie to chill with eachother, walking around and going to an art gallery after.

Thats just to start things off. We're walking around the waterfront and probably going to an art gallery as well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
