Yeah it really hurts to think about how nice he was to me when I was still a romantic prospect. It sucks that a good connection can get zapped away over night like that. You're right - that's not the kind of friend we want or need!

Love this ♡ I talked things through with my sister tonight and it helped a ton. What helped me the most was when she said "don't kick yourself for having a heart and wanting human connection." I texted him in that low moment because something in me was telling me I needed to do it. I was just being my authentic (and very naive) self. I'll look forward and learn from this.
