I’m with you man. I wouldn’t talk shit about my kid’s other parent. That relationship is important. To poison it because your own feelings are hurt is a fucking low class, shitty move. It’s not about you and her, it’s about them. Source: Child if divorce whose parents never talked shit about each other. I have a great relationship with both of them.

Awesome post. Everyone gets angry, and that's OK. I'm not one to tell somebody to get enlightened and never be angry. But it's wonderful to reach a point when something that once incensed you can be brushed off with bemusement. And rest assured, the further you go down the path, the more you recognize behavioral patterns and traits, and plan accordingly, the less angry you will be. Because you won't be surprised or shocked by selfish behavior. Because you've grown up and know fairy tales are bul…

Look at it this way. Being angry at women for acting out their nature is like being angry at the sun for rising in the morning, or at the leaves for turning brown in the Fall. Once you gain social intelligence and adjust your expectations you can make the game work for you.

No, he backed himself into a corner by trying to counter all the items. People make fucking lists. Deal with it.

No, but Denmark, or say, Australia are getting fairly close.

"Cleansing project". Shit, do we need to build a bunker now to be a real man. Should I fill it with canned food and a laminated copy of The Constitution?

At this point any time a group of men get together it's seen as almost criminal. Like it's a meeting to strategize the oppression of women.

He thinks prisons are overcrowded largely because of the failed War on Drugs. I think he'd rather decriminalize drugs and get people rehab. Far cheaper and more humane. It's really more of a Libertarian position.

It's better than Bush's model of interventionist foreign policy and quagmire wars that cost trillions of dollars. Funny how conservatives freak about paying for an overall societal good, one that would make our country stronger, but then are all, "we should totally attack Syria and Iran." Who pays for that?

Yeah, anyone that brings god into it loses my vote. Obviously that leaves me with few real choices.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that.

Sorry, but Dr. Drew is a board certified physician. An M.D. who studied at USC. He's been in practice for decades. You may disagree with him because you hate Lena Dunham, but he's far more qualified than you or anyone you know to make the call. We live in a world where assholes who've done nothing get to call M.D.'s fools, and their rabid ideological twins will support them because politics. Think about that. You reject a person's clinical expertise based on "blah blah I hate libtards".

He's also a person who has spoken to thousands of sex abuse victims on a sex advice radio show he's done for over thirty years. Keep fucking this chicken, though, clearly rational thinking isn't your forte.

Of course not, but if they did, it wouldn't make them a child molester.

I'd take his word over yours or Palin's any day. I mean, he is actually a Doctor, who the fuck are you?

I've heard this as some bizarre right wing response to the Duggar thing. Even Sarah Palin said it. I heard Dr. Drew talking about the Dunham situation on his podcast and he said that nothing Dunham did was sexual abuse. I know she made a commercial for Obama. I think people are pissed about that.

Not to mention, it's not a Pussy Pass. People can and do vote for anyone they want for any reason they want. All the time.

If Red Pill = Republican then count me the fuck out. Many of them are avowedly anti-science and it's not the media telling me that, it's the words coming out of there own mouths.

Exactly. She's not interested in logic. Just the "emotional truth" under everything he's saying.

People get off on all kinds of crazy shit. If they're both getting off on it, I don't see the harm. People are more open about their kinks today, but I think all this stuff has been going on forever. When it comes to sex, there's nothing new under the sun.

But the right goes around thumping the bible, telling people they shouldn't fuck, all while having bodies buried in the backyard.

Chances are, if you have even a small handful of relationships, somebody's gonna fuck your partner at some point. Do you really want it to be the worst thing that ever happened to you? Because, really that's up to you. Once you see women, and humans for that matter, for what they are, this shit is normal as the sun rising. Call me cynical, but my game, and my sense of well-being, went way up when I stopped believing the fairy tales.

Right? I have no problem with someone wanting to get laid. You can only control your own behavior, your own emotions and expectations. If I'm dating a girl I like and she fucks five other guys, I need to assess how I'm evaluating partners and always make sure I have my feet on the ground. It's the pedestal that drives young TRPers mad. My happiness should never depend on another person.

Yeah, I don't really buy it either. She's too perfectly clueless, and he's some kind of perfectly rational uber-mensch. Real life is a bit messier typically.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
