No. But the ones that are cool with a ONS will either be rather forthright or will go down that path with you, without ever even raising the question. The one you have to watch out for is the "Oh yeah, I'm down for fun." speaker while thinking "Naw. I could change him. Just watch."

They tell you they're not interested in a one night stand, you nod, thank them for the fun time and respect their decision. Then you move on. Odds are good some of them will then want a more casual relationship with you and were playing hard to get in the first place. Others will be grateful that you didn't lead them on. If you pick up someone and it gets serious, and this topic comes up, it is your responsibility to be the adult and say "Hey, I'm just going to warn you that I'm not looking to s…

Indeed it isn't... it's a sexually transmitted infection that can cause cervical, anal, penile and oropharyngeal cancer.

Any tips? Hmm. Because it's someone's party, remember that the night should be about him. Be the party guest you would want showing up to your party, doing so will make it that guy's best party. Being supportive of the night's focus, being fun, and enabling other people to be silly without a reminder they're in a state of undress will attract people to you. Make sure to toast the birthday boy, loudly and openly if you can get the attention of others at an appropriate gap. Be funny, but don't be …

Eh. It's just reality, without anyone trying to 'boil it down' and turn it into game theory. People aren't math. The Game itself? That's math. It's trial and error, probability calculations, and perseverance. But the people themselves should never be numbers. When you think of them as a series of numbers, you write off all of the parts that made them awesome enough to pursue in the first place. Too many folks try to deal with women the same way they would run a maze in hopes of achieving a sex t…

whenever I've told a girl that I have feelings for them or whatever, it has always ended badly, and quickly That's usually a sign that the girl had passing interest or curiosity, but didn't have a deep-seated interest. If she had a deep-seated interest, or an actual sense of investment, an admission of interest would take all of the pressure off of her admitting it herself. If she turns away immediately, its because she was initially attracted for entirely the wrong reasons ("because you're so c…

As soon as I start seeing a girl, she's literally all over me. There are a multitude of reasons why this can happen: Sometimes it is an attempt to sabotage your new relationship; other times it is a desperate plea for your attention because she's afraid she'll lose you as friend or potential mate; other times it is because you're now safe to flirt with because you'll have to hold back; other times it will be her attempt to tell you something with actions she hasn't been able to say with words. T…

Appetizers at a fancy restaurant are a lot more fun with three. I've done it on Valentines day a few years back and the waiter kept eyeballing me. It was very entertaining. You'll have to throw out an update when the time comes around. I'm curious to hear of your progress.

My first thought was "Nice!" followed by these three words: "dual induction massage" and uh, I'll just see myself out now. Good luck with your hike!

I dunno. I get the impression from the news that the man just goes right to the source and gets some pros.

Well, you can use it to your advantage, but it's definitely not a first-date kind of line and it will only be an appealing trait to a specific sort of partner. Specifically, the know-it-all/educator type, or the older cougar looking for young and inexperienced. If you can pull off confidence up until the point of that becoming a question, then can share this detail in a confidential/intimate sort of way, you'll trigger three possible instincts in your partner. First, if they are the type that "l…

It depends on how you start the arrangement. If it begins as friends and evolves to benefits, chances are you're doomed. You've just dramatically altered the rules of engagement and someone is going to catch a case of romantic attachment. Good chance someone (you or them) already do in order for it to even work. If it begins as strangers and then screwing brings you together, odds are higher that it will stay like that longer. But both people have to be in it for the satisfaction and not hoping …

I was wondering the same thing. Could be he is her rebound toy; an attempt to collect some contrast to her breakup. In fact, she may have used him and be feeling bad about it--in this case a seduction of the easiest tier. Asking a guy to hang out. Kind of want to read her field report on the whole experience, honestly.

A couple of people have pointed out that you could kiss the wound, or sing the pain away (the Spanish lullaby bit below), etc. Those are dependent on thinking quick on the spot. In both cases, they are relying on a culturally appropriate thing for an older person to do with a small child. It's a nurturing form of contact that puts the person at ease (if you are lucky). In North America, you're going to see a lot of "Let me kiss the booboo." kind of behavior in a moment like that because its what…

If your local culture is very inclusive and shame based, as most conservative regions are, then that is probably the best way to start. This is also true in the more liberal-like but group-centric countries like Japan, Korea, etc. In areas like that, the fastest way to social network is by being fun, friendly, and relying heavily on introductions by third parties. Popularity works differently too, with it tending to fall on the most serious and group-focused individuals like student body leaders…

I have this resting bitch face (I think) and because I'm quite heavily-built, a lot of people get intimidated by me. I feel for you--I really do--I get hit on by small effeminate gay men in bars a lot because they think I am a "bear". But I've been using that to my advantage for years with women. I also look like I'm permanently pissed off, I'm told. I go for the 'gentle giant' stereotype. I can't give specific suggestions in this case because I've never seen you. But if you do have a resting bi…

How do I increase the chances of THEM approaching ME though? By presenting yourself as having a persona different from those around you. This is the essence of what "being cool" means by the way. Being someone who effortlessly and somehow safely bucks the system. Has their own sense of presence, interests, etc, independent of what society wants of them, but does so without pushing the envelope too far. Why avoid negs? Because these girls won't have spent their entire lives getting "Oooooh! You'r…

I must ask, have you done this before? Would love to hear your insight! I grew up around some seriously religious people, in a very poor social class. So in a way, I had the worst of both worlds. Paranoid religious zealots guarding their daughters with baseball bats, and girls so scandalously oversexed that they didn't meet my minimum criteria for health safety. I try not to think about those stories--in retrospect, when my game was at its best, I was the version of myself I liked least. I took …

There might be girls that are DTF but they're really hard to approach because they're probably inexperienced when it comes to sex/relationships. This calls for an entirely different form of game. An indirect, subtle kind of game, that culminates in keeping you clean of accusations of wrong-doing. You probably won't learn anything from the PUA books and such out there right now on how to do this, because it isn't all about raising your confidence (cleaning up) and lessening theirs (negs). This ki…

You have a messed up self-perception, that's pretty obvious, but its not just based on characteristics about you. It's based on what you think others are looking for. Balding is a turn on for some women I've known (shave it the rest of the way if you can handle that look), treat your acne, and learn to smile genuinely. Be a 'real' person and not prone to negative moping and your odds improve dramatically. Work on your inner game: Ask yourself what it is you are looking for in a partner (short or…

You need to engage their known contexts more. The fastest way to get inside of a social circle (for example) is to know something about things they are interested in. Then they feel comfortable opening you like a set. They don't know they're doing it, but they do it. People love to talk about things they feel they already know something about. Especially themselves. If someone doesn't respond to inquiries about personal experiences, there is a good chance they are dodging them on purpose. Life r…

You need to retune how you think about the situation. Did someone else put pressure on you? Or did something in your environment change, leading you to see pressure where there might not have been any? The whole point of realizing you own the situation is knowing that if pressure is coming from anywhere, it's from you. Other people can't "make" you feel something, or "make" your confidence dwindle. People can feel that kind of confidence. That's all on your end. That's your inner game to play. G…

Tinder is just an app that pairs up people who have passed each other's digital shite-test. You put up some pics, and definitely add a little bio comment about what kind of things you are into, and then if someone likes what you have it puts a mark on your account. Then if you like them (or the opposite order of events happens), it hooks the two of you up to a messaging option. Some people use it to get a quick hook-up. A lot of the girls who use it, depending where you are, will actually have a…

Which is why I said this to your detractor: He didn't give a critical breakdown, no, but that's a good sign. He's not overthinking it--he's letting natural chemistry do its job when he can. You didn't follow a plan, yet you still did things right, and then you talked about it. That's how the people who aren't doing things right learn to do them correctly: through example. You provided one for them. My critical breakdown was to point out that there was value in what you were sharing; not to puff …

There also wasn't an allusion of any kind to the warfare tactics of the dating game or the use of 'fishing' for phone numbers. The obvious ones of course. Nah, I took the three points off for the lack of angst. It was entirely too happy. It left me hoping he hears from her again and she becomes his regular transatlantic squeeze. I've never hoped for one of Hemmingway's characters that way. After reading his work I just can't find the energy to do so.

Nah, I just got a high school English education from a series of PhDs. But I appreciate the compliment. My time in college was spent examining subjects similar in that they focused on the humanities, but not from a literary angle. Speed Edit - Wait... in this job market... that might not have been a compliment...

He didn't give a critical breakdown, no, but that's a good sign. He's not overthinking it--he's letting natural chemistry do its job when he can. But if you need critical overthought... He changed venue with her a number of times (building mutual context), gave her opportunities to demonstrate her own value (bought him lunch), returned the favor to show his own (car ride [passive value], bought her ice cream), escalated kino (move to the bench/arm extension) used mild but funny non-threatening h…

Plus it has references to a maritime environment, and involves the social interactions of men and women. Very 'Hills Like White Elephants' in that regard. Although, it is lacking an overarching subversive subtext... but there is the reference to possibly never seeing each other again at the end, eluding to a kind of premature nostalgia. I'd give it 7/10 Hemmingways.

Despite how new-age crazy this will sound, some people just have "good energy" and its often portrayed through unconsciously controlled muscle groups and patterns of behavior. Facial muscles, how you walk, how you move, where you choose to stand, your willingness to laugh, etc. You'll notice that all of these things are areas where seduction teachers will spend some time teaching people to portray confidence even when they don't have any, etc. But you can only fake so much of it. Naturals will a…

I suspect it's more of a philosophy than a technique. It alters your behavior, rather than creating a gameplan. If someone stuck to it, it might be considered a 'maxim' in fact. A guiding principle.

No, I meant skin flushness but said tone instead. Tone implies place on the color scale, which is a misnomer. I meant whether or not they are blushing, have ruddier skin, are paling, etc. Some people pale when they feel anxious, others blush. When aroused and blood flows to the genitals and other mucous tissue areas and thinner skin, like the lips, etc, skin in other regions can get slightly colder. So it depends on the person. It's all perceivable, but you have to look for it.

This illustrates one of my favorite points on the subject, and very well at that. There was a waiter who dabbled in religion and world travel a few years after the millennium, and he had a blog on which he shared one of the most honest and valuable tidbits of information I've seen when it comes to human want. It may seem manipulative, but it takes all of the decision making out of your own hands, and gives the power to the person you are with to decide on the path they want. Consider it... seduc…
