I think that you have higher standards, and they just weren't worth it for you. When it's worth it, you would do it. Either that, or just lower your standards 🤷🏻

Have your version of reality written down. Discuss it with someone else and make sure you know the hard facts and keep them in mind before hand. There is a good chance she could try and make you out to be the reason she 'had to' do this. Basically shift blame on anything else except herself. If you find her doing that, this means she thought leaving was better before, now it's not so rosy, so she wants to come back while still having the upper hand in the relationship. Please please don't let th…

Okay so if you're in the gym, and you're leaving the gym at the same time, I personally believe it should be okay to atleast say hi and introduce yourself. What do you think?

Remember, asking for safety and stability is free, which is what she is doing to you, but providing that for her is going to be draining for you. Raise your standards, set a hard boundary, and move on. Otherwise you'll end up just as messed up too with major trust issues.

I never doubted her for a second, but then I started seeing signs, clear signs, and then I saw proof. It's fucking unfair and it hurts so much. Now I'm focusing on seeing her for who she was, understanding how to avoid a person like that again, and healing. It's gonna take a long long time, but I definitely agree with you. Dumping insecurities on someone who doesn't deserve it is not okay. If you've been cheated on, focus on healing, and focus on attracting the right kind of partner for you. Mor…

So these days it's a new thing called situationships where one partner doesn't fully commit, and are willing to let the other partner put in the work. The best thing to avoid this, is to just have a conversation. Ask if you want to make it official, and make sure you're both aligned. However, still, please keep a lookout for signs of cheating. It happens more than you think.
