I mean regardless of the reason that men are experiencing these things, i would propose the fact is that these are still bad things that need attention. It doesn’t need to be because they’re a man, it’s just something bad that’s happening that is important to know about.

No, I’d rather base my beliefs off proven facts and not media opinions and my own bias. If you are specifically looking for evidence for something you will typically find it. Additionally, your claim that my statistic is completely invalidated because “uhhh good criminals don’t get caught” doesn’t really make any sense. ? I am talking about sexual partners/year with the .03 difference, which is the statistic you hypothetically brought up and defended. Also, if you’re just talking about attention from women, I think sexual partners/year is a fine statistic to measure that.

Personal anecdotes are, again, not a good indicator of nationwide trends. Especially when one’s own personal biases and perceptions come into play. Heck, even if I did go and find all that, it doesn’t count as proof that women like criminals more. I think, as I have said elsewhere in this thread, that an incomplete statistic is better than none at all.

Okay, well, you can continue to speculate about the possible higher rates of intercourse for men who commit violent crime. With no proof but an anecdote. 62% of people sentenced to state prison are in for violent offenses (source: sentencingproject.org) . If the intercourse rates for men who committed violent crimes were so much higher than an average man, as they make up the majority of men in prison, wouldn't we be seeing a much bigger disparity than .03 sexual partners a year?

I am looking at all offenders and the only definitive measure of criminals we have- the incarcerated, and all offenders because the OP of this thread spoke on all offenders. OP probably was talking about violent crime, because I doubt men who are committing, say, tax fraud, are doing it for the sex appeal haha. Fair enough. To answer your question earlier, incarceration typically shortens lifespans by 2 years for every year spent in prison. But I am guessing both people in prison and not in prison don’t have much sex in the final third of their life, so IMO the lost years in lifespan kind of matter less. I realize what you’re saying, but I would be hesitant to claim fact based on anecdotal experience of stories. Additionally, if we can’t measure it by the only population of criminals we have (which is jail) it’s completely unfalsifiable. This is in fact a theory as it is apparently to you completely unprovable.

I think drugs and violent crime are a repetitive cycle- that is, both a cause and a symptom. Good point on the last one, but perhaps eventually public opinion may shift with enough effort. I’m probably too optimistic there though haha

I don't think this theory is quite accurate. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3788090/ This study on sex partners in prison finds that the average number of lifetime partners for men in jail is reported as 6.2. Another quick search estimates that https://onlinedoctor.superdrug.com/whats-your-number/ says that men average 6.4 partners over their lifetime. Perhaps the perception of criminals receiving more sex and sexual attention is attracting men to crime?

i don’t think i’ve ever seen any sort of research lie conspiracy theory on this sub. If anything, stat denial seems to be rare, and only as a different interpretation of said stats. Can you provide some studies that counterpoint points made in this comment section? If you can, i doubt anyone will outright deny them or say it was a lie.

For one, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. Are you implying men's rights' inspires violence? That makes sense, they believe in men's rights so they go shoot people. At my school, there was this nice teacher. Everyone liked him, and he was oft greeted while going through the hallways. He always tried to treat everyone equally, and he was understanding when homework went missing. But then a girl accused him of sexually assaulting her. No evidence, she just said it. He was fired later that week.
