She would probably be a lot happier in the long run if she wasn’t with him. Why should his obsession erode her self-worth?? No man is worth this amount of stress.

THIS. I’ve gone as far as threatened a LVM that I will report him to the police if he tried to keep contacting me. I Won’t go into details, this is the most afraid I have ever felt around a person.

I’m a full time student and that’s my number 1 priority. When I’m not doing school related stuff, I have lunch dates with close girlfriends, try out new restaurants, watch great shows online, and try out different coffee shops. I also crochet, embroider, and listen to great podcasts.

I watched some guy buy a $3 box of chocolates at Aldi today. He had the nerve to gloat about what a wonderful night he’s about to have. I instantly felt sorry for whoever was getting that box.

Highlight of my day yesterday was some person suggesting FDS be quarantined next. That person was the forced to provide evidence of quarantine worthy behavior from this sub. He failed miserably, and eventually backtracked on his opinion. There’s nothing wrong with a community of women who preach common sense and self worth when it comes to relationships.

I can count on one hand the number of dudes that have showed up...it’s almost entirely women who show up.

I downloaded hinge and within a span of week, I deleted the app. All the guys liking my profile just exuded LVM tendencies, and their profiles were full of every cliche one could imagine. The one guy who did look promising (completing a master’s, professional violin player, the words in his profile indicated he was serious about a relationship, etc). Cue the conversation with him, it’s rife with typos, grammatical errors, and the conversation keeps circling to him wanting to know whether I want …

I stopped faking orgasms a long time ago. If he’s terrible the first time around, I ghost immediately.

I hate profiles that show evidence of someone with intelligence (advanced degree, well dressed, etc) but they they text with grammatical errors and low effort. Immediate unmatch.

I mentioned that I enjoy hand making items for friends/family. Cue the “what will you make for me?” messages.

I’ve been saying this since I was a teenager: I would much rather be single than end up in an uneven relationship.

I met a guy once who wanted to take pictures of me posing like a Zulu princess. I’ve never ghosted someone so fast. He still sends emails every once in while trying to get my attention

I literally cannot stand apps anymore!! I deleted tinder permanently four years ago when a guy I matched with relentlessly tried to pressure me into sex since we were on the same college campus. Scary af, I spent weeks looking over my back.

I find that some guys will make up a fictional ex as away of pulling “she did/had this so you should too”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
