Yes, that's what I meant. I imagine dating you must be something like this.

I have a feeling if this were OKCupid, we'd have about a 5% match score. What are you doing hanging around in /r/seduction anyway? Looking for ethicists?

Casual sex... 50% of the time it works every time!

As a short guy with a fairly athletic build, a good tailor is pretty much indispensable. I only wish I could afford to tailor every single thing I wear.
/r/seduction31/05/12 07:56 AM

For instance, wear long-sleeved shirts with the sleeves down. Just FYI, if you have short arms and you don't tailor your clothes, this tip will often make you look even worse because huge, overlong sleeves bunching up and billowing out is definitely not better than a 'visual stopping point'.

I'd say it's the opposite. Someone who has less specific expectations due to less experience is probably harder to disappoint. I don't think either would laugh in his face, but an older woman would assumedly be accustomed to better sex to begin with since they don't start figuring out what that means to them until later to begin with. Everyone has bad sex in college, so by comparison, really bad sex wouldn't seem that sub par.

2 (excluding those cuffs) and 4 are fine, but honestly, this is a perfect example of why you should rarely take fashion advice from women.

The fact that you tell us first that he was an "Assistant District Attorney [capitalization yours]" before mentioning the boots would lead me to believe that they may not have been the primary reason you were interested in him.

If this were actually true, there would be far fewer of them.

Telling her you are a virgin will accomplish one of two things. Either a) she will have sex with you or b) she will not have sex with you. Good news, OP, you have a 50% chance of getting laid!
/r/seduction31/05/12 07:23 AM

I don't want to make OP more nervous than he already is, but I don't think a lot of women have the same virgin fantasy that some men do. As a guy, if you get with a virgin (it probably won't be great or even good but) at least you'll be in control and you will get off even if she has no idea what she's doing. As a woman with an inexperienced guy, neither is guaranteed or probable, so I can't see it having the same appeal. Also, culturally speaking, male innocence/naivety is not nearly as univers…

Well, she did say he has oddball fetishes, one of which is illegal. Sounds like a Patrick Bateman case to me. Next time visiting his house, use his bathroom and count the number of skincare products then report back to us.

As long as personal stories aren't about kids or dogs, I would usually prefer to hear them over why you hate Kony or what you think about the Republican primaries.

I don't really expend any daily mental energy on hating these people, but that doesn't mean I can't point out the fact that I find them and their values disgusting. I hate the people on the Jersey Shore too, but I don't watch it. I certainly don't sit around thinking "Oooh, that Snooki really burns me up!" every day. I never claimed to be enlightened in any event though, so I don't think you're really making any kind of counter-argument by just going after me.

It's tough when you intend to say 'I think you're absolutely stunning and I wanted to come talk to you.' I want to mean it when I say it. Why not go with, "I think you're at best average looking, and as a result might have self-esteem issues which could make you more willing to perform non-standard sex acts to earn my approval." Honesty is always the best approach.

It warms my heart to hear your kind words. Knowing I can reach out and touch lives like yours is really what keeps me going. I never said anything about misogyny though. Bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks.

I try to make a positive difference in the lives of materialistic and naive adolescent boys via the internet by educating them on the realities of the socioeconomic hierarchy and its inherent injustices and shortcomings.

No shame in it really. Hunter S. Thompson chose the same exit. Of course, I respect him a lot more than some "international man of mystery" even though he was probably equally irresponsible.

Just from scanning his bio, I don't think the definition would fit. The guy was a cop, a combat pilot and later a successful writer and producer. He didn't inherit a fortune and spend his time squandering it on non-productive activities. I'm sure he enjoyed the success he earned, but his life wasn't focused on leisure. Playboy <> leading a rich life.
/r/seduction27/03/12 10:58 AM

Well, the word irresponsible is in the definition, so there's at least a correlation with being non-productive. Also, while we're at it: Property is theft. Reaganomics is a lie. Ayn Rand sucks. Milton Friedman sucks. Ron Paul sucks. EDIT: Jets suck, Yankees suck, Knicks suck.

I don't feel like typing another long comment, so just look up at my responses to clifton. I never cast judgement on the rich as a whole, only on those who fit the actual definition of the word playboy.

Why think everyone should be some great altruist? I never said altruism. Sure, Musk gives away plenty, but even someone like Steve Jobs who amassed a great fortune and didn't give away a large percentage would qualify as someone doing something productive beyond enjoying himslf, even if it was motivated by personal gain. You certainly couldn't call him a playboy. That word, before it was co-opted by Hefner, meant (and still means), "A wealthy man who spends his time enjoying himself, esp. one wh…

It's pretty hard to give a serious response to a comment that contains the phrase "u jelly brah", but I will try. I'm not simply hating on the rich. I have no hatred for someone like Elon Musk, who is worth more than all of these playboys combined. The difference between the two is that one actually contributes something to society and pursues goals which amount to more than personal status and leisure. Wealth is a tool. Some people use it to do excellent things and to make the world a better pl…

I don't want to get all zen, but desire and striving are the chief cause of suffering. This was the Buddha's second noble truth. I'm not Buddhist, but I think the guy had a point. You're right that striving is the natural state for humans, but then again, so is suffering.

Sachs had so much fun that he blew his brains out. I'm sure there is no shortage of pleasure in the lives of these people, but I think they're empty inside, or else they wouldn't have to strive so much. That isn't just my resentment talking either. I think when you can have everything and find that none of it satisfies your ever-increasing expectations, that must be a pretty miserable feeling. If I didn't hate these people so much, I might actually pity them.

I'm sorry, I'm sure in this sub this will probably be viewed favorably because half of you aspire to be the Most Interesting Man at 23, but honestly, I find both breeds of idle, arrogant rich equally contemptible. Being slightly more mannered and more of a dilettante didn't make the old guard playboy any better than the new. They're both self-indulgent, superficial parasites.
