Omg so true!! I used to ask way too many questions to a pandit when I was a kid about stuff like this and he was so done with me. 😂 Made me realize I wasn't that religious anyways loolll And definitely agree. But I guess that's the end point of all of this hopefully, a society that doesn't selectively value one phenotype over another. In the meantime, I think this stuff can act like corrective promotion; it's something the YouTuber Chrissie talks a lot about 😊

That's totally fair, it's defo gotten better in the last decade, esp with the new crop of lads 😉 And yeah, that's such an interesting point, never realized that the gender gap leads to more sexual competition. Yes definitely agree with you, women are disproportionately affected while many men ignore this fact, and god bless RiRi ❤️🙏 Just that I don't wanna ignore a small minority stuck in the middle, i.e. men abused by women, because I really feel their pain too just like I feel for my fellow women. Like in my household, my dad gets yelled at a lot by my mom, so I would like for it to be societally okay for him to be able to ask for more help.

Total newb here, but maybe consider different kinds of men rather than lowering your standards? Like if there's an ethnicity you even subconsciously try to avoid, maybe next time you see a profile of a man of that group, give it a second look? See even cutting your face out of the pic isn't enough. A few years ago I read a story about how a dude in Toronto leaked photos of women who had sent him their nudes, and he took the extra step to attach their names, profile pics, etc with each of the photos. Then he came on national Canadian TV to apologize. It was shocking.
