I don't think I was brought up the notion that "having a family was a necessary part of growing up", but by the time I reached 8, I realized two things: Firstly, kids don't like me and secondly, I don't like them. I don't think my Dad brought the idea that having children is a necessary condition of being an adult; if he did I don't remember. My personal advice, is to leave, get rid of the simps that are in your life, they can end up destroying your reputation as much as the women. I've had it done to me.
