Honestly any other term. My issues with the term are the stigmas currently attached to it after it was co-opted by the far right as an insult to anyone who you disagree with. Which is why I almost always associate it with manchildren now.

This doesn't quite meet the elements of either battery or sexual assault in my jurisdiction I think. My jurisdiction defines it as the touching of "sexual parts" of another. I get that saying she "assaulted" this man has a nicer ring to it but this level of contact should (rightly IMO) not be characterized as such. That said if you go by the definitions some women generally apply to this sort of situation I've certainly heard them classify this level of contact as "assault".

I'm saying even if they do it's unlikely they'll work in biglaw. My point is it's unlikely for 99% of attorneys (not just women) even ones who went to good schools, to work in biglaw. So you don't really "choose" that as your career path when you enter law school. Although side note the number of female partners in biglaw hit a 5 year low a while back.

Who is whining? I'm pointing out you can't "choose" to work biglaw. I never wanted to work in that industry but just to give you an idea of the people I went to school with who did want to only one even has their foot in the door in that area of law.

That isn't how biglaw works. Nobody "works their way up" that's not how the industry works. You start at a biglaw feeder as an associate and then the "work your way up" part starts. Landing that initial job as a biglaw associate is extremely difficult for 99% of law school graduates. In all likelihood you'll work at a mid level firm, which isn't biglaw and would never lead to a biglaw job.

Not how the industry or the opportunities it provides works at all. Biglaw won't even look at your resume if you're from a TT even if you were top of your class. To be able to "choose" to work biglaw you have to graduate from a top 5 school with good marks. The rest are lucky to get an interview which is highly unlikely to lead to a job.
