I think it's scary because the idea of surgery is scary to me. Doesn't make it stupid. A lot of things that are scary are the very opposite of stupid.

I mean I'm actually an atheist. It's obviously not bullshit to argue against the human rights of children, we as a society don't always endorse them. They don't get to decide if they are subject to surgery, they don't get the right to die. They aren't allowed to make decisions for themselves in many ways that I expect you would consider rights violations if forced on adults. But to you merely suggesting that lack of rights extends to their body is bullshit?

I mean it's not bullshit, I don't care about downvotes, I'm just stating what I think. I thought about his statement carefully, but I don't agree that adults make the best decisions for themselves or that babies should not have some life altering choices forced on them. You don't have to agree with me. That's fine, but it's not bullshit.

I mean I would have some idea eventually, not direct experience, but I also know what I am missing now because I know what an uncircumcised penis is and understand the benefits of having a foreskin.

Maybe it is, I certainly can't deny I've never experienced having a different penis. But I, and the majority of people I've talked to about this (mostly girlfriends) preferred circumcised dicks. There is, in my experience, and I' don't have an statistics to back this up, a culutral preference for circumision that has nothing to do with being amoral, (they simply haven't thought about it that way) and everything to do with aesthetic preference. The fact that nobody would choose to have it done as an adult is evidence that it shouldn't be forced on babies. I simply don't agree with that statement. Though I'm not saying it SHOULD be forced on babies.

I'm glad it was done to me, and while i acknowledge the validity of that argument, if you made me wait till I was 18 to choose to do it, I wouldn't do it because that shits scary and would hurt a lot. I'm sure it hurt when I was a baby, but I don't remember any of it and frankly as far as I'm concerned my penis has "always" been this way. As a result I get the circumcised penis i prefer without having "experienced" any of the pain of having it done.

That doesn't matter though. Attraction is irrelevant and shouldn't weigh into decisions that really should be about freedom of choice vs safety(I think this side of the argument is bit strange).

Sexism is intent not effect. One would have to hypothesize at the intent of the people involved to decide who it was sexist against (because sexism is a mentality). That said it is my hypothesis that these people were largely directing their bias at the men not the girl.
