Some gyms offer a free session with a trainer, so, if one does this, takes careful notes, and keeps motivated, one can figure this out oneself.

At my local, when I arrive, the owner comes out to greet me personally and has myself and my SO sit at a private table away from everyone else. To boot, he gives us a bottle of wine a week from his cellar to take home, comp. It's wonderful to know people. ... and I'm just a frequent punter. Not somebody you've heard of.

The underlying point was that your post reeks of negativity, and seduction is best done in a neutral-to-positive frame of mind. This subreddit is for individuals to improve. There are many possible venues for improvement. A mixture of theory (reading) and going out (acting) is what I would recommend, but what do I know? I'm trying to continually improve myself.

I just scrolled through the most recent 200 posts and found a grand total of three field reports. Alternatively, we're so busy being out that we don't have time/energy to post field reports. Did you ever entertain that thought?

Then start writing on productivity. Submit pieces to journals, kindle singles, etc. listen to the feedback, submit to writing contests, and iterate. Stepwise refinement will yield improvement over time.

Here's the list of my girlfriends, how long we were together, and why we broke up: 2 years, broke up because I went to the states for uni, she went to Spain. 3 and a half years, broke up because I went to Europe for work, whereas she went to Seattle. She also wanted to get married, whereas I wasn't ready. 1 year, broke up because she moved out of the country for her MD. 2 years, broke up because she wanted more time from me than I was able to give her and she accused me of being emotionally reta…

There are no jobs that pay 150k straight out of college. I know this to be false. I was making L300k/year (that's British pounds, at the time, it was approx $500k/year) at a bank in London, as a quant, straight out of graduate school. My cousin is making 450k/year as a quant in Copenhagen straight out of undergrad. Neither of us started the banks in question.

4-5 hours of sleep? How did you function? Caffeine, adrenaline and aspergers. Also, I meant information about the job. I looked it up and couldn't find anything. My day-to-day was seeing patterns in time series and projecting the patterns.

Could you go into more detail on this for me? Sure, I worked in London, but other centres of finance have similar hours. I'd come in at 7am, leave for the pub at 4, strip club at 9, back at 11 for a few more hours of prep for the next day, get home at 2, and repeat till I quit and moved on.

Abuse/threat is up to the receiver and nobody else. To wit, if someone were to call me "fat", I'd laugh it off or return the favour, perhaps with interest, but if someone were to call my girlfriend the same, she would consider it abuse. By the same token, my sister will get into a fight if you call her fat -- but her seeing it as abuse is not going to happen. I know this to be true as I've seen it. All are equally valid reactions.

Is this an example of a man who has truly become a feminist? No, there is another word for this, the polite way to put it is that your man has become/is a doormat. Do you think that this wife is being treated well by her husband? It's between them.

I peruse Reddit TRP every once in awhile. Awhile back I came across a very in depth post on why moms want to raise their sons to be beta. I've tried searching for it, and will continue to do so, but can't find it. It was a pretty in depth post, probably would take about 5 minutes to read. This is not going to be that comment, but a my thoughts on it from a limited understanding of RP. Mothers do not want their sons to "plate" them, as it were. People don't enjoy being talked back to and they wan…

Met a girl with mother issues, but speaks highly of her father, is this still considered a red flag? Which is more of a red flag is a question of degree. If the mother put the girl down her whole life, while the father was just neglecting her, I'd take the daddy issue. If the father was abusive and the mother enabled it, I'd take the mommy issue. Ideally, a given woman would have neither issue. The standard RP advice seems to be that you're not looking to settle down with her, just spin plates u…

Because practitioners of RP believe in AWALT and so if one women they hear about feels different than this, they assume this applies to every woman across the board. In short, RP thinking is glossing over individual differences and treating everyone as the same.

Context is no excuse for the how #trp talks. Not at all, however, you must acknowledge that IRC does lend itself to easier "flying off the handle" on the part of participants. I've been called much worse online for my views than in real life, and, yes, by the same people.

IRC tends to draw the nutters/slackers with no life, among the RPers. I'm sure if I were to meet any one of these people at the wine bar, they'd be decent enough people. However, online, you don't see that I'm wearing a Barcelona #8 jersey, you don't see me sipping red wine as I type this, you only see my (somewhat abrasive) text. I chose to address only one of your points. That is not weird, that is human nature. An "Alreadyred Moderator" really ought to understand human nature, given that your philosophy claims to be based on it. My point in making this post is for you to prove this and not to rubbish my tactics.

RP often endorses young vasectomy and no marriage which is a happy strategy but not an evolutionarily sound one. So, RP will lead to the end of humanity? That sounds like a brilliant sexual strategy!

When reading Neil Strauss' The Game, it seems to conclude that being a PUA is something males need to do temporarily, to get it out of their system. The protagonists all seem to settle in the end for women and marry. Maybe TRP leads to the same conclusion?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 09:55 PM

The only acceptable endgame for anyone on TRP is continuous constant sex with tons of gorgeous women under the age of 25 (an unlikely feat for, like, almost all men). Far as I can tell, they think this should be the goal of any male, and that they will beat your head with it till you accept.

Is it possible that these traits evolved in men because the early men that had them had a chance to reproduce more often than those that didn't? Of course they did. But, instead of "evolved", the traits "survived". Just as there is no evolutionary downside to having nails on fingers and toes that grow and the need to be cut, these, too, survived.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/15 09:25 PM

But they are. For example, I'm a labour supporter, because my father and mother are (my grandparents passed on before I was born). Per another example, I believe in equal rights for immigrants because my parents do.

I don't think that your knowledge of evolution is sufficient to make such a statement. On the contrary, I just made the statement, so, my knowledge of evolution is, ipso facto, sufficient to make the claim. Do you know why gay people exist? Those who don't participate in the sperm war and support their siblings or friends manage to get several more individuals through. Being homosexual would be a recessive trait genetically. Therefore, it can lurk in an otherwise normal person. Most humans are t…

The mere concept of red pill and blue pill, even in its earliest incarnations, are what - maybe 50 years old tops? I don't know when the first mention of it was in whatever literature RPers use, but: The Red Pill is men's sexual strategy. Reality is happening, and we need to make sure that we adjust our strategy accordingly. Sexual strategy is a lot older than 50 years -- it goes back to the dawn of humanity.

Beta bucks is a strong and prevalent force. So, "beta bucks" (as you put it) is a good evolutionary strategy? I think you're arguing out of both ends of your $WHATEVER.

At the local where we hang out most nights, I know the owner by name, so when we walk in, we're immediately seated at the family table, given the secret drink menu, girlfriend's made her favourite dish, irrespective of whether it's on or off the menu, etc. Great stuff, but I've been going there here since 2010, she joined me after we got back from Spain in 2013, though.

Do you meet women like this? Sometimes I do, other times I don't. What's your approach like? My approach? You make it seem like it's a hunting expedition, when nothing could be further from the truth. For me, the end goal is finding out what makes people tick, not hunting them down and slaying them. This doesn't mean women aren't excelling as engineers, they are and to some extents of the highest caliber of problem solving. This (and more /u/WaynesCotting's comment) are key. With regards to cultures and condoning sex, my view is that biology is biology, whether you're in Taliban Afghanistan or Brazil. The repression is imposed from on high and the effect of said repression wears off as you get more and more familiar with the cultural norms of working around it. For example, I lived for a year in the Lebanon growing up. Now, Lebanon is schizophrenic. On one hand, you have the home-grown Islamists, who want to "repress" women. On the other hand, all the Arab women tha…

But, i think i responded wrongly. I try to live by my faith system and although i think Christianity has completely screwed up marriage and made men passive and limp, i still am commanded to show love to my spouse and care and nurture her development as a human being. If you try to live by any faith system and that alone, you will screw up. I don't care if the system is Bhuddism, Islam, Christianity, or Manchester United. You need to be flexible. Everything in moderation.

Absolutely, I have lived too long and dealt with too many individuals to believe that being individuals who are abrasive are that way because of anything other than the fact they choose to be abrasive. on par with the average white guy? This is the crux of your problem. You don't want to be on par with the average guy, you want to be better than the best guy you've met, irrespective of skin colour or ethnic extraction. At the end of the day, the pussy doesn't know what colour the penis entering is, after all.

I strongly suspect that logging these events on a calendar would reveal a pattern, so perhaps I just need to nail her a bit more often in the run-up to the next meltdown. It might, but, if you perform this exercise, do not forget that correlation does not imply causation.

Also, be a comrade and come back once in a while after you've finished your phoenix-like rebirth at stage 5 - come back and share a few words with those still making the journey. Further, as has been pointed out in the original (paraphrasing), you can go backwards, too.

The CEO of a corporation or company typically reports to the board of directors and is charged with maximizing the value of the entity. Incremental improvement is difficult to see as it happens. If you'd like, take a picture of yourself now and then look at it six months after working out daily (or whatever), compare it to what you see in the mirror. Whereas day-to-day, improvement is difficult to see, over a longer time period, it's more evident. Keep it up, it's great what you're doing to improve yourself!

My friends are this way, but that's the culture which I was raised in. We even have a word for it -- ribbing -- and it's even in Google (2nd definition). I don't consider it grounds to dump them, as I give as good as I get. Indeed, it was good training for the world beyond my youth, as people can be very backstabbing.

College admission is a good prequalifier for you. Except it's not. I went to some of the best colleges and universities on Earth and still found a lot of airheads, independent of gender. My current girlfriend has a college degree, no graduate/PhD and she isn't an airhead. We know people who went to my PhD programme that are airheads. I'm a bloke and, for me, it doesn't matter the actual number of previous partners a woman has before me. What matters more is whether those relationships were good ones or not -- I find that most of the women I am attracted to are on the "not" side of that equation, but whatever.

Biologically-speaking.... they are not universally weaker, on average, they're about the same, but the bell curve is shallower for men than women -- more outliers in the former. Thus, in a college, you're more likely to have more males getting very low grades, and also the top end of classes will be male-dominated, with women bringing up the majority of the middle. There are more severely depressed men than women, but also more manic men (extremely happy, not manic depressive). More men have ADH…

Just about everyone has had to do this at some point or another. And most have experienced "success". But, what is "success"? Is it having a new person to sleep with every night? Or is it having the same person over at your place 3 times a week? Or is it something altogether different? You need to first understand what the solution look like before you can solve a problem.
