Not defending any of this, but she did have a way longer period of "shit my husband is dead" than Rick had a "shit my wife is missing". She had days of having to cope with her husband's death. He had hours of having to think about where his wife could have gone to survive. Plus it's a show, fictional characters, written by men.

Never! I admire men who give their life for their student, they're literal heroes. I'm not asking to erase that quality of them, just to acknowledge that women do that shit too.
