Contact is to a minimum now. Strictly need to know information about the kid. There were a couple of attempts on her part about 3 years after the split. Admittedly there was one drunken night where I almost fell in to that trap again but bullet dodged and I am well beyond ever considering it now.

Good question. Yes I had it verified. The first couple of years I didn’t but when I got an a view of the real person she was from outside the relationship I thought I should make sure.

That’s where I’m at too. I literally have 7 shirts and like 2 pair of pants, tennis shoes and some Walmart loafers since I my work environment is supposed to be dressed up kind of. I like people thinking I’m broke.
