Watching the news story in full...seems like biker and witness followed her home. She ran into the house when they were standing outside. She came outside pointing a gun at both of them. Biker said "GET DOWN MR PRESIDENT" to the witness and protected him by ending the threat.....last part is somewhat in jest obviously but basically yeah biker used his CCW when him and the witness were drawn on by crazy lady.

I actually am. And doesn't matter in Texas. Hindsight is definitely 20/20, probably could have pushed harder for an even split but hey it's not the end of the world it happened. Im an attorney, albeit a corporate one, but youre right. Many offenses are 'no intent' type offenses which mean that no matter if you say you cant remember it to the point of not intending to do the act, you're still liable. Thing is everyone is different. Some people are blackout resistant like you, others like me blackout pretty damn easily. I remember back in HS when one of my buddies and I assented to mutual teenage angst combat for shits and giggles. He proceeds to constantly kick at my shins to keep me at bay while backing off.
