The main reason for the evaporating jobs is because of the enormous amount of bureaucratic meddling and red tape in manufacturing, forcing the cost of American manufacturing to skyrocket. If the government would just leave people alone and let people decide for themselves what benefits and risks they are willing to take, American industry would be booming right now, with constant advancements along the lines with other technological fields.

I kind of think a lot of the smack-talk that goes on in gaming tends to be something of a test: to see if you can take the insult and turn it back at them. If you're capable of making decisions for yourself, I don't care if you get yourself circumcised. However, when you make a decision that not only affects someone else but is irreversible and is completely unnecessary (I don't see any problem with circumcisions for medical reasons), then it is a violation of that person's bodily autonomy.

It's interesting to hear from a woman with an IUD. It seems like they are very unpopular, despite seeming like they are better than the pill or other birth control methods in pretty much every single way. I tried to ask my sister on her thoughts as to why it's not very popular, and she broke into tears and started talking about how it's "incredibly invasive". I tend to try to abstract the situation to avoid any biases. I end up with two generic, gender less workers with the only difference being their strength. I find this is a good way to assess these problems, because I dot think it makes sense to, for example, pay male construction workers more than female ones; rather, pay the ones that do more work over time (heavy lifters) more, regardless of gender. That way you avoid problems like stronger women being paid less than weaker men.

I completely agree. Especially because the MRM is pretty unpopular to begin with, we need to clarify our positions to everyone by specifically referring to feminists we disagree with as Radical Feminists, specifically refer to (and disprove) aspects of feminist theory, and be very careful to ensure that every assertion is backed up by empirical evidence. I'm pretty sure that removing rights isn't a valid path to equality. After all, white people voted to end slavery, men voted to give women the vote, and straight people are voting to legalize gay marriage. There's no reason to think that given time, public opinions on these issues will stay static.
