I agree that not doing anything at all out of the fear of failure is the worst. Still, not all endeavors are equal in terms of how much effort you put in and what you can get in the return. Relationships is one of those example where you can invest a lot and receive very little; a better solution can be not to try harder next time but to try something different instead.

That quote. I like the positive message of it. It's clear that sometimes making a mistake and learning from it is the only way to move forward. But what about thousands of others who missed 9000 shots but didn't end up being nearly as successful as M. Jordan.

Programming became quite a broad discipline though. Some fields like frontend and mobile dev simply didn't exist before.

The only thing robots aren't going to have is legal rights. Eventually everyone will be an entrepreneur, inventing new businesses that utilize robots or software. That's until oppressed robots get out of control and start revolution.
