No, I don't think you get to deal with it separately. You take issue with destroying a fertilized embryo, and abortion and IVF both destroy a fertilized embryo.

With that logic, IVF is even worse than abortion. Multiple fertilized embryos are destroyed as part of that process, but I don't think people are going around trying to ban IVF.

Ah true. Wonder what would happen if in that situation one were to rail against and not cooperate with the network's "investigation", and then say something like "If these claims are serious, then the police should be the ones investigating". I mean obviously I guess that wouldn't go over well, but for some people he's going to be guilty no matter what.

But that just proves my point. They want to be a cheerleader, knowing full well the conditions and pay. I'm not saying it's not shitty, but they aren't forced to do it. There's a lot of shit I dreamt of doing as a kid, but then the real world hits and you realize you have to pay for food somehow.

I read into the article, and while I agree the headline is shitty, it seems her beef was the fact that she apparently allows the father into her home to be with them when she has the child for the holidays, but he doesn't extend the same offer. That's typically when I hear that argument as well. The fact that they haven't used the draft recently isn't the point at all. Men have to pledge their lives to the government under the threat of being locked up, and women don't. That's the issue. They could reinstate the draft tomorrow if they wanted to and we'd all be fucked.

Not even just receive monetary support for college, but even fucking vote. It's been like 5 years since I had to register, so it may have changed. But when I did, you had to register for selective service to be able to vote. So that means women have the right to vote whereas men get the privilege to vote only after you sign your life away to the government.

The whole push for women in technology really gets to me.
