I'm currently reading it, English is not my first language, I hope I can give a good review so far. This book talks about the Nice Guy Syndrome, most man want to receive approval from other people, specially from women. But, Nice Guys tend to be lonely and angry (even though they don't seem to). The author of the book is a psychologist with lots of years of experience dealing with Nice Guys, the aim of the book is to help you get the best out of your life.

It happened the same to me, but seeing that she is moving on, while I waste months and months depressed is not fair. You may be in love of what it could have been, but women are different than men. They love different than us. The best thing to do is to open your eyes and see the real person she is, and how is she treating you. I hate it must be like this, but it makes sense. Since my 20s I have been dealing with challenge after challenge in life, I was expecting someone to take care of me when I get the hard times. But I come to realize that I'm alone and I can only depend on myself. This Briffault's law is accurate, it does describe the reaction of women in relationships. True love doesn't exist, only opportunistic transactional love.

For sure now she is a declared enemy, but it hurts. To remember her saying that she loves me and then looking a totally different person capable of ruining my life. Agree man, her family thinks she is an angel, but none of them know how she treated me. Until this day she does not recognize her mistakes, she blames all on me. I started the "No more Mr Nice Guy" audio book in YT, I can relate to it 100%. It hurts to see my wife angry and leaving me, but I guess I never loved my self enough to detect the disrespect she had for me before. I must admit that since I got married I felt as a slave. Thanks man, I think your response is very accurate. When I see her in person she is very angry, but when she is without me she posts in her social media that she is very happy. I'm passing through divorce and got very depressed, I'm 33yo and lost my job, no kids.
