Kinda depends on how masculinity is taken. If it's adopted as some kind of ideological weapon to be used to "man-up" as a result of being treated poorly by the opposite sex, then it's not genuine and will generally be toxic to others. If it's just the result of someone's chosen values and discipline and is used for genuine self-improvement, then it's a good thing I would say.
