How do you unwind in just an hour? It always takes me so much longer.

Damn, you're the same guy who wrote that "fixing an 18 yo bug in a game" article. Didnt expect to see you here. Dude you gotta have separate accounts for this shit.

Interestingly enough, Heartiste appended that statement with "except World of Warcraft," but apparently even that works.

Your links on trp.red shouldn't come back to Reddit -- link to the same posts you linked but on that platform

Hey dude, pm me when your post is up. I'm really curious.

I just had an epiphany reading this comment. There's no point playing a game where you're guaranteed to win. There's no challenge, enjoyment, or anticipation for either a guy or a girl. So why would a girl want to stay with a dude where she's guaranteed commitment? There's no excitement there. It's not that she needs to be manipulated or even that she enjoys it. It's just human nature.

Weird, I just read your post on the main sub and thought I was going crazy for a second. Glad you followed through and posted it, it was a really good post.

For OP it sounds like it might actually be writing. I thought i this post was very well written and its length actually allowed him to flesh out his thoughts in enough detail to be meaningful, unlike many of the short, "soundbyte" posts here.

Or a pie on pi day. Maybe that was too nerdy for this sub. EDIT: chicken pot pie, of course. Gotta get in that protein.

A relevant RP quote from the article, though unrelated to the topic of this post: “My book,” said Skinner in the interview, ”is an effort to demonstrate how things go bad when you make a fetish out of individual freedom and dignity. If you insist that individual rights are the summum bonum, then the whole structure of society falls down.”

Wow. This is definitely the best thing I've read in a very long time. I have a very strong case of acquisitiveness. Hell, even after a taxing workout I was up all night just from this kind of anxiety. Overeating, binge drinking (got rid of this one) -- I've shown these behaviors all my life. How can I move away from acquisitiveness and into abundance mentality?
/r/TheRedPill24/12/16 10:16 AM

I think that really depends on age. OP kinda skipped from youth to adulthood (I'm guessing the simpler parts) to prove his point. Your reasoning holds pretty well during adolescence, when someone can begin to understand the reasoning behind something but lacks the maturity to do it on his own. But yeah, I agree.

Hence the increased effemination of American boys -- so many of us act privileged instead of becoming men and making our lives.

Okay, maybe I didn't describe it well. But feminists and the general media (especially on sites like Tumblr) are always saying things like "you're fine just as you are" to 400 pound land whales "Just be yourself and you'll get women" to thirsty betas "You don't need to change/you go girl" to each other You highlighted in your comment the positive side of thinking that way -- of self acceptance. I was wondering how to reconcile/strike a balance of self acceptance so I don't sound like one of thos…

I understand that there's a need to not psychologically destroy yourself all the time, but your description of accepting yourself sounds very much like Tumblr-feminist bullshit that circulates around these days. What's a good balance?

They are. It's a constant reminder that these guys are bending over backwards to cater for her. That's also why these guys are unattractive. Now, if one of these 5s approaches her and barely acknowledges her and doesn't bat an eye at her, her wheels start spinning to figure out why she's"not good enough for him." And she ends up chasing him to get validation that she's worth it. (Now if you're a 2, that won't work. There's a minimum SMV floor.) That's why you'll see ugly, unhygienic assholes pul…

I recently got into the college of my dreams; will be attending there in the fall. When I got the acceptance letter, my dad told me that there were a lot of things that went wrong when I was growing up (from very very pushy parents to some of my own mistakes). But you know what he said? "Even if you could go back and change the past, you shouldn't. Every little thing contributed to your story, to the journey that got you here. You never know what 'setback' of yours was required to get here. Neve…

Is there an effective way to rid myself of negative memories? I'm about to enter college and I still have flashbacks/find myself thinking about social failures and mistakes I had going all the way back to elementary school. It's actually a pretty common occurrence. Essentially, is there something I can do to "let go" more easily?
/r/TheRedPill24/06/16 03:36 AM

It's not so much about necessarily eliminating certain types of music, but recognizing not to internalize beta-oriented lyrics as part of your life philosophy.

How can I avoid having cuticles like these? Mine look like that right now, and it makes me pretty self-conscious. Nobody else has them looking like that.

Actually, this is not a bad point, despite the downvotes (probably negative halo effect from your first, shitty comment). If this were a real job, having flings with the office ladies would probably not be a good idea. However, this is just a part time college job, and OP may be in his last year, in which case it's not the brightest thing to do, but it's still OK.

Yes, exactly, blaming parents is nothing more than a rationalization. I feel like it's useful to see once (like I just did) to clarify a lot of my concerns and to help me realize it's something that can be overcome.

I'm Indian American and I needed this post, to explain perfectly why I feel so beta compared to white people at school, and to show me it's possible for a brown man to become alpha like the white ones I see around me. Sure, everybody can read the sidebar, but sometimes on your way to being RP after being conditioned to be a beta faggot, you need a post you can relate to more to explain things. Saying that these kinds of posts are unnecessary is just a circlejerk of "read the sidebar" while ignor…

At least in my experience, swallowing the pill takes a long time, and implementing it takes even longer. It's not easy to erase 17.5 years of 24/7 conditioning. The way it worked for me was that I was introduced to it by a friend. He would copy some good TRP posts, remove any references to TRP, and then send them to me. I liked them, so he told me about the subreddit. It took me a couple weeks of reading and real-world observation to realize how true all of it is (sadly). Right now I'm still try…

I honestly feel like that's a stupid measure. If you look at his old videos (like a lecture he gave at Harvard before FB really blew up) you can see his lack of confidence. Now, however, it's obvious he's been lifting and displays high confidence. I feel like Zuckerburg has actually become more alpha with time.

Could you please explain how Zuckerburg is a beta chump?

I think you're talking about the wrong type of alpha. Interesting, nevertheless.

I think you're taking the concept of "being your own boss" a bit too literally. It means making your own decisions in life rather than being pushed around by the desires of others or the flow of a mob.

I can see why movies/TV are not good for a man, with all the blue pill indoctrination. But what's wrong with listening to music, even if it's mainstream? Is it just a matter of shielding from BP lyrics?
