She will always put herself first. She will try to fuck you and your son over anyway she can. Get your share now if you can before she pisses it all away. 7 vacations and at least 40,000 in arrears won't take her too long to erase all value. Cut all contact with your ex. Let voice calls go to VM and document any txts and emails she sends. DO NOT respond to her. Let your lawyer do the talking.

If you have no need to speak with her then don't. Cut all communication and let your lawyer do the talking. You do have time to rebuild. So few recognize this. Press hard and fast for divorce while she is distracted by the neighbor.

Much more likely she moved in with the other man. Speed is of the essence. Get a lawyer immediately. I realize you are hurting but you must act and act quickly. If you choose to delay you only allow her further opportunities to damage you. Also, now is the time to press for favorable terms of divorce while she is distracted by the other man and her judgement is compromised. Speak to a lawyer and check whether or not you can change the locks on the home because she abandoned it and the marriage. …

My situation wasn't much different than yours. My divorce took 2.5 years. My ex found many ways to delay the divorce process. This is while she was actively involved with my replacement. Would advise you also to expect delays. She may be agreeable now but don't expect that to last. Especially if word gets to her that you are doing better without her. I had many dark days even after the divorce completed. Find a new path, career, hobbies, set new life goals. Find something to work towards to pass…

You climb the mountain one step at a time, one day at a time. It is only unclimbable if you do not try. I started my second marriage and family in my early 30s.

This won't be the last of her affairs if you take her back. You have nothing to fix she broke the marriage each time. She will continue to do so. Learn to co parent with her stay separate.

Speak to a lawyer. Get your financials in order. If it doesn't hurt you in the divorce find somewhere else to stay and put the home up for sale. If you can't leave separate in home as best you can. Voice activated recorder on your person to avoid he said, she said. File for divorce when you are ready. No kids = no contact = no more drama. Communicate with her only through your lawyer.

What you are attempting by involving her friends is manipulation and it will backfire on you. Your wife will says what she will say and her friends will side with her. You can't help her unless she wants the help. The tighter you try to hold on to her the more she will resent you and push you away. You can't heal her but you can break yourself in the process. If your wife is set on divorce then give her what she wants, set her free. Find a woman that you are more compatible with. Your daughter w…

Yes it is sad and will definitely stay that way in the short term. The long term is a whole other story. The farther away you get from her and the influence/hold she has over you the more your you start to see you haven't lost anything. That you can do better, Your gut is telling you to bail. Your gut will never lie to you. I trusted my gut many years ago when I had no tangible proof or even a clue that my ex wife was was cheating. My ex wife sprung a separation on me while I was away visiting f…

The situation has long since past. ~20years past Had to be separated 1 yr before a divorce judgment would be awarded. So many games were played and so many lies told I did not want to take her word for anything so I pursued a paternity test. She fought against the having test done for over a year. Once the test was completed the rest of the process completed. Total time wasted 2.5 years married and 2.5 years for divorce.

Eyes are the window to the soul. No place for an enemy to be. A liar and manipulator needs to look you in the eye to practice their trade. Some claim it is weakness to avoid eye contact. It really doesn't matter what others claim, do what is in YOUR best interest. I can’t even muster the energy to waste one more second being cordial and pretending that everything is good. I fucking hate her. This is the real reason she wants eye contact. You refuse to give her anything. She has no control over y…

Wait until your divorce completes before you do anything. Good chance your wife's affair partner will dump her anyway. Why? Because OM's primary interest in your ex wife is the illicit sex they are having. If the other guy really wanted to be with your wife then why hasn't he filed for divorce too? OM not will leave his wife, lose half of what he has or more to be with your wife. Why would he? He is getting what he wants from your ex wife - sex without commitment. Why buy the cow when the milk i…

Every red light in my mind is going off and shouting GET THE FUCK out of there!!! Listen to the message. If you stay with her the pain will be worse the next time you find yourself in this situation. There will be a next time and then the one after that and the one after that one, etc. Your situation will not improve if you stay with her.

I crazy for wanting to reach back and break NO contact situation? Yes. I came back to talk to her at home only too find her with another man in our house! Literally 3 days after me leaving. She doesn't love or respect you. There is nothing to save, no reason to stay and even less reason to go back. She is broken and she will self destruct. There is no need for you to let her drag you down with her. You haven't heard the last of her. When you have moved on, when you are doing well without her she…

She has lost control over you and the narrative. she told me in February that the marriage was done and that there was nothing I could do to change her mind. she told me during a conversation in the car that she no longer had feelings for me and that she was done with the marriage. She has no regrets other than you are willing to move on and not act as her safety net in case her AP doesn't work out. Press hard and fast for the divorce. There is nothing to save and you have no reason to stay and …

Don't be scared. If you have no children together go no contact and press as hard and fast for the divorce to complete. As there is no marriage to save and your wife doesn't care about how you feel or the damage she has done. Do not meet with her in person regardless the reason, you will not benefit from the meeting. Txt and email communication the only allowable topic - divorce. Ideally you should only communicate with her through your lawyer.

Last face to face meeting with ex wife. We were separated by her design and I was under the impression the end of the marriage was largely my fault. We ended up arguing over a legal matter and I attempted to comfort her by placing a hand on her forearm. She recoiled as if I were a total stranger. All the mysteries cleared up for me with her reaction. I had just recognized the true reason she wanted to separate, there was someone else. The surprising part was that I held it together, didn't lose …

Don't listen to anything she says just remember all she has done. Keep moving forward. You already know how miserable life can be with her. Learn how good it can be without her.

I’m starting to see the positives in all this, enjoying single life, my career has really taken off again now I can see how much she held me back, A few short years from now you will have no regrets.

She wanted to inspect my messages for evidence of cheating (which doesn’t exist). People like your former wife are the ones typically cheating and trying to accuse their loyal spouse of the same. Nicely played regardless. Don't ever tell her about the prank, no good will come of it.

You are most welcome. If your former wife is narcissistic it is no coincidence that she is rebuilding ties with the other woman. The other woman serves a valuable purpose not only as a distraction but as a source of information about you. Narcissists do not like to see their former spouse move on happily. In their mind you remain their possession. Slowly and surely you can expect she will attempt to interfere in your life.

My best friend’s girlfriend is friends with my ex wife and they reconnected last weekend for the first time in months. Would your wife's cheating and your divorce have anything to do with their disconnect? If your ex wife reached out to the other woman (best friend's gf), your ex wife is fishing for information about you. Why? Expect your ex wife to attempt to reinsert herself into your life and/or meddle in your new relationship. For example, you share the details with your best friend of a rom…

You offer a last chance and she would rather go to the beach with a "friend" to get laid. Divorce. You have no marriage to save. She isn't interested.

If you have proof of her affair then expose her cheating ways said proof otherwise as you have learned she will spin the narrative " she just says that I didn't treat her right and that made her have sex with this guy 15 years younger. " Guarding your reputation isn't being petty.

Expose her cheating to family and friends so she is not able to spin a narrative. Expose her at her place of employment if her AP is a coworker. Report them both to HR.
