you're citing a reality TV episode as proof of a dynamic between the genders? STOP just. simply. stop.

well this is one thing I appreciate: you didn't just blow me off, thank you dude This is out of genuine curiosity: are there that many people in this movement who aren't just in it for the clickbait and are people actively working to de-sensationalize the discourse? I'm firmly of the opinion that male psychological/social issues need to be discussed with the same compassionate tone that women's issues are and I recognize that we tend to be demonized harshly but this kind of toxic (and honestly m…

don't even have half the institutional power alright good point, I'll give you that what I fucking despise is how much tabloid shit gets posted here like a lot of the 'OMG IMAGINE IF THE GENDERS WERE REVERSED' pitchfork mob posts are literal fake news originating with daily mail and shit like that if ya'll would cut out that crap this sub would be much better (and would probably lose a lot of traffic since sensationalism is so damn appealing)

I agree with you about this post but do you honestly believe that the way people discuss gender relations on this particular sub is going to help anyone? Shit like this sub is the reason there's no viable levelheaded egalitarian gender movement, MRAs are literally just a template copy of "le SJW menace" just with beards and deeper voices. This place is just an insular circlejerk that doesn't help anyone improve their lives, imho. Can you explain why you really like this sub?

it's natural to define physical evidence in terms of resistance I asked you to give a source; "it's natural" is not evidence, it's just another way of saying "I think X" while trying not to sound subjective. Could you please just admit that your stance isn't based on real life cases you've read about? Do you really want to base your opinions on pure emotion-laden ideology instead of an examination of real life?
/r/MensRights20/04/17 02:41 PM
2

Evidence of physical resistance was really just a shorthand way of requiring any physical evidence to start with. Your entire argument rests on this claim. Could you link me to the source(s) you're basing that on? I'm not seeing anything to indicate that.

most other states already have laws like this and they are justified expecting someone to prove that they physically fought back against a crime that involves intimidation and often blatant threats with a weapon is 19th century tier cruelty no one should be acting like this is a defeat for men, this is a positive step for the state of maryland

this this this sure the term may be used too liberally by overzealous types but it's wrong and fucked up to act like there aren't people/cultures/subcultures out there who trivialize rape and/or shame women that it's happened too tbqh the term rape culture would be accurate in describing those peoples' sexual zeitgeist fucking hell I hate the circlejerk this kind of article brings out, where people act like there should be a competition between people who support rape victims and people who supp…

well if it happened to the woman who posted that comment then what's so wrong with her saying that? you sound like a head-in-the-clouds prick who can't fathom that not everyone has lived the same life do you think that every argument you've made for every position you've held is 100% airtight? you're a spoiled brat living an easier life than most people have in human history but you still want to feel victimized so you go out of your way to find examples to take out of context

life bronnen.net/int/ is a glistening, dazzling reminder that the very core of Art is of extemporaneous trains of thought reflecting on the real and the now, the emic and the etic, the visceral and the collective, to carve an ephemeral tunnel through the mundane to reach the essence of an idea, whether vulgar or divine, expressed through a personal lens of style that gives YOU, the artist, character what you're looking at is the most honest and unbridled display of humanity in vertebrate history…

If you can't even make your points about me honestly well both of our comments are now on this publicly viewable forum, which others will read and have their perspectives shaped by, so if you genuinely believe that I am not addressing your reasons for being an MRA honestly you will counter the individual points I brought up to clarify for other curious minds why it is that the MRA position is justified and my critique is not, otherwise you've done a disservice to your movement by fleeing the arg…

Here are the condensed and annotated reasons you've given for why you hold your views and come to this sub: 1: you know someone who's getting a divorce -since you didn't give any details that would make the man's side more sympathetic I'm guessing you wouldn't have even considered this an issue if you hadn't surrounded yourself in detached online propaganda 2: your childhood was "affected" by pro-female bias in the school system -you didn't say how exactly that happened, this was a nebulous and …

SJW, Safe Space, 58 types of genders, anti male, etc you either haven't set foot once on a college campus since you graduated (or talked to current college students) or you just spend too much time on the internet, literally all those phenomena are widely mocked and pilloried on college campuses and none of them are even very visible, you have to actively seek out "safe spaces" and whatnot, it isn't shoved down your throat but if you want to be an insular navel-gazing ignoramus then go watch a b…
