You must be pretty smart if you got in to college at 14

Yeah, take Zoloft if you want to numb yourself out and get permanent tinitus and ED, ask me how I know. SSRIs should be used as a temporary last resort, not the first thing you try. I wish someone had told me that

Fuck I'm worried about a false rape accusation though I didn't say anything the first time, it happened when I started to pull her pants off

That's a good one, I'll try this next time

Went out last night and was hitting it off with a chick, went to grab some water and when I came back my friend was talking to her. Tried to get back in the conversation but he started blocking me, like middle school type stuff. Won't be hitting any bars with him in the future for sure but I couldn't think of any way to better the situation without coming off as needy or pathetic

Hey man while the pain of regret really hurts right now, you're not gonna remember it forever. I doubt you'll care about this situation this time next year (even next month) if you keep working on yourself and improving. Use the feeling/memory while you have it to motivate yourself to make a move next time

I'd break up your days by muscle group so that you are giving your muscles time to rest/repair/grow

I would disagree with the other commenter. I'd say something like "7:30, my parents are really strict" assuming you aren't young and don't actually live with your parents

I've tried it and while it seems to help with anxiety a bit it also makes me extremely apathetic. Also if I take it for a few days straight, I feel like the negative side effects come out stronger and it stops helping with anxiety. Everyone's different though it might be worth a shot.

Worked a lot better than expected. There is a "conversation feature" on it that let's you easily speak/translate between two languages. Thanks for the heads up

I also get hugely negative reactions from weed. From what I've gathered there is just a small amount of people (1/50, 1/20, who knows) that weed just does not work for.

Oh yeah, very similar from what I know about JW. Had a friend that grew up JW and left a few years ago when he started college and his family cut him off, really sucks. I think both cults stunt growth a lot so we go in to adulthood with the sexual maturity of middle schoolers.

Raised mormon or a similar cult? I was and suffer from the same thing. Escalation anxiety that is.

It doesn't feel like much of anything usually. Ironically I've never given blood so I can't compare the two. It hurts for a few seconds when they first poke you (unless you get someone really experienced then you hardly feel anything). Then sometimes there is a tight feeling in the arm at random moments, but they give you a little rubber grip thing to pump/squeeze that helps get rid of that feeling and helps it go faster. Afterwards you feel a little more tired than when you first came in (eatin…

Not blood, but you can donate plasma (they pull blood out of you, separate the plasma and blood by spinning it, then pump the blood back in) for cash.

I donated for about 6 months a few years ago. I didn't see a huge loss in gains (I still bulked fairly well during this period) although you will need to increase your protein intake a lot. I ended up spending like 1/4 of what I got paid (only like 280 a month for twice a week) on buying more meat and protein powder. Also like another user mentioned it will leave scarring on your arm where you get poked, so if you do try it ask them to poke you in the same spot each time. Lemme know if you have …

I took Zoloft for about 1.5 years. Tinnitus started after about two or three months of taking it and never went away after I stopped. It's rare enough that none of my doctors knew warn me or even believed me at first, but there is a lot of discussion online from people that it has also happened to.

I've had tinnitus for about 4 years now due to a medication I took (side effect that is rare enough they don't even mention it). You honestly get used to it after a year or two. It does suck though. Not sure how it really applies to TRP (take care of yourselves I guess) but I definitely don't recommend it.

Animal shops as in shelters or places you buy pets? Thanks man, I've been meaning to look in to volunteering for a few months now

I go out alone two or three times a month to practice meeting people. It can be really hit or miss, some nights I have a blast and talk to all sorts of people and some nights are slow and I only stay out for an hour or two without meeting anyone interesting. Just don't be afraid to do what you want, and don't have any expectations for the night, like having to hook up with someone. Just go to have fun.

Something that worked well for me in the past is to have a dark isolated place in mind, ask if they want to go stargazing. Find a place to sit or lay down (can even be on top or hood of car) and escalate heavily, eventually moving back in to the car. Or if you are feeling more confident just say let's go to so and so park, then find a secluded corner to park in and escalate.

I'm not entirely sure. You might want to find a balance between talking about the subjects you mentioned that you can talk about for a long time, but not too long to bore people, and talking about things in common. Most people give the advice to become interested in the person which will make you interested in the conversation, but I find that's easier said than done.

Eh imo you shouldn't care either way and just try to forget about her. It could be any number of reasons. Maybe she was in to you and ghosted you to stop herself from checking up on you. Maybe she got a controlling BF who was insecure/jealous about her past flings and asked her to block you. Sounds like you handled it pretty well though I would just not worry about it anymore and move on to better things

Ahh I see what you're saying. I would definitely recommend working on your anxiety as much as you can. I agree with adapt2evolve that you should meditate. 2 or so weeks of 10 minutes a day can definitely help. And I would recommend trying to go without coffee for 2 days and see if that helps your workouts. Another thing to keep in mind is to not beat yourself up over it when it does happen, just keep working towards improving. This time next year you will be able to look back at now and see how …

I used to be (well still am) in the same boat. I've been working on it though and I have been going out solo to bars about once a week for the last few weeks to practice, where it is a lot easier. What I've found that helps is to find topics that you are interested in, and try to find similar things that the other person likes. For me my go to is music. Some people just say they listen to everything and don't care to talk about it, but people like me like to talk about music a lot. I ask what ge…

Panic attacks suck. I had a few months last winter where I got them most days, and it makes it really hard to progress as a person. Do you have any idea what is the root cause or major contributing factors? I would start there, because it will seriously improve your life when anxiety and panic attacks don't control you. As for the gym I would recommend starting slow or picking exercises that you don't have to worry about hurting yourself if you fail. Replace barbell bench with dumbbell bench, if…

Yeah I use the back of an electric razor, the pop out thing. Using a real razor and going down to the skin is a bad idea but putting on door and sweating is much better with short armpit hair

I've got a lot of experience with psychedelics and can answer any questions you have in pm. I find them beneficial overall but they can sometimes show you things about yourself/others/the world that you don't necessarily want to see

I have noticed this a bit. I used to wear black shirts most days, but wearing a nice colorful shirt that matches well with your pants seems to make people look at you a bit more, at least enough to be noticeable. I'm not sure where it comes from but subconsciously I think of people who wear colorful clothes (not neon or tie die) as more friendly

Are you saying to let him embarrass himself and cause a scene? Most places I would agree with you but I don't think in the middle of a movie is the best place to do that

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
