Let's see. The fact that there is so much free stuff to do is amazing. I really enjoyed the national art gallery and Smithsonian. Not really. I've used mainly Smoothon stuff and never had an issue with that as long as I degas properly. A nice slow pour into the lowest point of the mold is all you need from there. Some of the fast cure stuff can get tacky quick though. Edit and they make some shit you can mix in to lengthen the cure time if you're orried about trapped air

Well the good news is that you don't have to degas it in the mold, you can degas the bucket of silicone. I have plans to make a 3d printed skeleton and start working on a doll but that is a way out. You're right, good silicone is expensive. Also the warmth of a body and moisture of mucus membranes is hard to mimic. A good toy would have temperature, texture, and reflexive motion. I have made quite a few things from silicon in my day. Silicone will have to be colored in batches because it's mixed in while it's liquid and before it cures. Until dolls have muscles and fat under their silicone skin, it will continue to look cheesey.
