the gun control thing is also a ploy to steal women from the republican party (not that they'll ever actually do anything about it). and hating the democratic party doesn't necessarily mean one is a conservative.

you may hear those things, but the mainstream (at least in the u.s.) considers those ideas reprehensible and vilifies anyone who expresses them, while similarly bigoted ideas about men are expressed or implied regularly and accepted as perfectly rational.
