What causes women’s height preferences to be so disproportionate to reality? It's biology, height for most of human history was more controlled by the ability to get food then genetics. Humans beings are attracted to things we associate with survival (large breasts in women, height in men). | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/04/22 05:26 PM
| -1 | Just how easily can a girl be put off a guy she found attractive?Attractiveness is finally in its early stages. A blooming crush can be swayed or dismiss by the smallest of things. A deep desire can outlast the largest of storms though. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/12/21 03:51 PM |

Women demand a traditional man, but do nothing to be a traditional woman themselves. This is the source of their dating woes.I think most women want equals. Since the average median income for women is 900 a week and men is 1,000 I don't think anyone wants to settle for lower. If you make a certain level of money you probably want someone in the same league, same with looks. If you are driven you probably want someone with drive. You described a career woman who makes 60,000 so someone who is above average financially. In order for her to be convinced to share her resources she is going to want above average suitors e… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/12/21 03:47 PM

Dating in small town medium city or big city?I think medium Town. I've lived in all three and have to admit in every one I'm appalled by the men who pull women ( short, ugly, unemployed, mean, no goals, no charm , terrible personality) but I think medium towns of around 50k was where I saw the most girls who had boy friends that were lower then them in looks, worked part time or unemployed, and made the girls do all the house work/ date planning / paying for everything. my friends were elated when one friends boyfriend held a part time job… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/11/21 02:23 PM
There are no "intimidated" men.I mean we've a been afraid of a woman before. Teachers, moms, doctors, policewoman all intimidate us. I know in my debate club many people were intimated by a specific girl who could win at any style with no prep. There is a bully in an office I use to work that most of us were intimated by. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/11/21 06:31 AM

Is sexism morally bad?People should be judged by the content of their character not on their birth circumstances. I think that male only and female only spaces are fine but female and male conditions for different jobs are ridiculous. If a firefighter needs to lift 100 pounds it shouldn't matter if it's female or male. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/11/21 11:33 PM

Most college guys can deadlift over 200 (from what I've seen). Most over 80s can't lift their arms.In my 25-35 year old workout group the guy dead lifts hover around 250-300 way more then any of the girls weigh. If we are talking 20 and 40 that's a different story. Most women want to be liked for more the their looks. The problem with dating older men is that they normally only see me for my body. | 3 | Why do women seem to prefer long term relationships and commitment instead of just being best friends with sex? Do you genuinely desire a man to devote and commit himself to you for the rest of his life or is this just a social pressure? Is this something that you genuinely want for yourselves?Well, I want a life partner. I want someone I can build with. That we have similar life goals and can go after them together. If someone had an STD or STI and lied about it, I think that should be against the law. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/09/21 07:46 PM |
Can some of you describe your social lives?I get that it sounded insane to me as well, but I started reading into our history as a species and this is the most alone we have ever been it was common to eat most meals with a large group of people and after work time use to be spent almost 100% with others around. I'm a mix I need alone time to recharge, but I need to socialize or else I get depressed. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/09/21 04:54 PM

Can some of you describe your social lives?I do! I've met amazing friends who love the same things I do and are pretty healthy socially | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/09/21 04:51 PM
Can some of you describe your social lives?Woman here but I try to be social 5-7 times a week. I think I have about a 2:1 men to women ratio. I do everything from church to boating to board games. I aim for two private events (events where the new people I meet is 0, think going on a friend's boat) and 2 public events (events I meet alot of new people ex: Bible studies or skiing) each week. I also don't count any work activities as social activities. I count myself as pretty average. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/09/21 12:33 AM
How long *should* it take someone mid-20’s actively trying to get a relationship?I agree to some extent, to find a date probably 6 months. To find a life partner that values, respects and shares morality? One with similar hobbies and life goals? Heck people search their entire life for that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/09/21 10:28 AM
How long *should* it take someone mid-20’s actively trying to get a relationship?Hmm, maybe it's the women you spend your time with? From what I've seen women who are looking for a more traditional relationship will be searching for signs that a guy is ready to settle down. If he doesn't display those signs then they move on. 🤷.I bet early 20s club scene girls who don't want to settle down wouldn't want a guy who does. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/09/21 10:26 AM
How long *should* it take someone mid-20’s actively trying to get a relationship?Depends on where they live, in my home town people are married before 18 so if a 22 year old was looking it would probably take 2/3 years. Also the 22 year old isn't really going to places for relationships. Bars and parties are more for hookups. Does this man/ woman go to church? Play in rec leagues? Join hiking/ camping groups? Do you make a point of going to places where the opposite sex frequent in large numbers? I would say if they don't use online dating 6 months to 1.5 years. If they use … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/09/21 09:46 AM

CMV: no one is sexually attracted to money, accomplishments or intelligence.I would say intelligence is like garlic and onion in a dish or salt and pepper if you prefer. Most foods are inedible without it (most guys are complete turn offs if they are unintelligent) but you can't put them on a dog turd and make it delicious. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/09/21 12:31 PM
RP men, what do you want?I'm interested in what makes a woman feminine and what you consider "carrying for her weight" to be? I know in my own social circle my friends flip if they see the scale move more then 5 pounds and only one out of 60 girls I know are overweight. It might be a location or an age thing, but it seems to me women care a lot about their weight. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/09/21 11:06 AM
Q4All: Could you handle being with a partner that was acutely aware of your flaws or insecurities? My partner and I are extremely growth minded. We go to many events/ lectures/ and retreats with the idea that we can move away some of that ego protection to take a look at those flaws. We discuss monthly our goals, what we want to change about ourselfs, and how we want to change it. We then hold each other accountable for these goals. I think a healthy relationship requires people to be vocal about their partners flaws. Our partner is a mirror for us. | 8 | Is love worth it?Yes, a million times yes. Love is one of the most magical incredible feeling one can have. Waking up every day next to a team mate is so comforting. Seeing your lover bring in groceries for the 1000th time and having your heart skip a beat because of how beautiful they look in the doorway. That feeling of selflessness when you see them sleeping and all you can think about is what you can do to make thier morning easier. The absolute bliss you feel when you can get them to smile. | 26 | Women don’t care if you’re sensitive, women don’t like or appreciate men expressing their emotions or showing any vulnerability when it comes to relationshipsI'm going to honest with you and probably a little blunt, but when was the last time in a newly buding relationship has a woman broke down in tears crying on you about her depression? If you're American then our culture isn't one that rewards sensitivity. Male female heck even children get told to tough it out. It sucks and I can understand you are upset. | 4 | What makes a man desireable?Women are all different you aren't going to get one answer here, but yes psychologically manipulating a person makes them more codependent on you. These tricks work on men, women, and children. It works until they wise up to it or if they are aware to begin with. Trauma bonding also allows people to manipulate others into staying with them. If your question is, are psychological mind games effective, then the answer is yes. | – | Is body count a part of modern dating culture?I think the high body count grosses me out. One it feels like why should I be with you if literally anything can be with kind of devalues the guy in my mind, two it feels dirty having sex with someone who has had a lot of sex like I might catch something, three it doesn't feel special anymore. | 3 | "When a woman talks to a man, she is thinking of his future (his earning potential, etc.), and when a man talks to a woman, he is thinking of her past (how old is she? her weight? her history?)." - The Book of Pook. How applicable is this statement some 20 years after Pook wrote it?Hm... It's a generalization and as generalizations go pretty inaccurate I think. I believe both men and women base their judgments on how what their partner did in the past will affect the future together. I (woman) listen to a man on a date if he talks about how many places he has traveled I think "Oh he will want to travel in the future this could be compatible. | 1 | Would you a prefer a guy for whom sexual success comes naturally, or someone who worked very hard to achieve it?I think both would be a turn off, if you change yourself and work hard everyday just to be liked then what's the real you? If you have had dozens of partners then it feels like you're the village pogo stick and I'm going to catch a disease off you. I think someone who works on self growth is attractive because I am very focused on that as well, but re inventing yourself for the sole person of being liked feels shallow. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/09/21 06:07 AM

Women focus on careers because a career is a good investment, a man generally isn'tI get this hard core. I wanted to be a housewife, but honestly there is no assurance the man wouldn't run off as soon as something hitter came around. I currently buy and rent real-estate and realistically can be earning 6 figs, and work a 3 hour work week before I turn 30. Which means I still have time to have kids and stay at home with them without the fear that someone is going to take it all away from me. | 0 | Why should a woman choose to date a man she knows is using porn?Have you ever heard of death grip syndrome? Men who use porn on the regular actually desensitize themselves so much that normal sex is unpleasurable. It's unfortunately a fairly common ED reason for young men. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/09/21 11:29 AM
| 6 | Why should a woman choose to date a man she knows is using porn?I wouldn't because of the countess studies showing what porn does to men's brains. I'd rather have someone operating at their prime. Also we work with sex trafficked victims and many of them come from porn. I don't know if I come stomach being with a man who can help people with one hand and use the other to benefit the industry hurting them. | 5 | Have women on OLD sites noticed men getting more or less "simpy" since pandemic?I get as many or just a few less matches as I do swipes. So 20 swipes would be 18-20 matches. Nothing has changed for me when I was using OLD and I helped a friend make her profile and we were using it last weekend. Men seemed just as interested as before covid. | 3 | Men should never allow SIMPS to take them down to their levelIt just seems weird that you would even concern yourself at all with their comments. I think I would see a guy as having higher confidence if he could shrug off a comment instead of making a deal of it. I've never met any woman in my circle who would want to be someone that feels that they need to belittle others. Heck I think more then one of us has stopped seeing men because he felt that "need".
