Ugh I’m so embarrassed I even made a post to try to justify his stinginess:( thank god for you’all queens for reminding me to not settle for less.

Yes I'm going to try to move on and never look back. He's not worth my time! He actually messaged me yesterday saying he's thought over things differently and wants to meet me the next day. I didn't reply and three hours later he sends a passive aggressive message saying "Ok. Thanks for our time together, I wish you the best and hope you find someone who fits well with yourself." and then asked for his keys back! I was going to respond to his message but didn't expect him to blow up after only 3…

No I didn’t respond to his msg. I emptied out all my things from his apartment when he was at work so he knows I’ve seen his text. If he wants to meet just so it makes him less of a coward for breaking up through text then I’m not interested. At the same time, I have his keys and I still want closure. If he contacts me again to meet in person then I’ll consider it.

Yes I read it three times. The first time I said that his second lesson fell on my birthday and jokingly pouted. And he continued typing and said “my singing doesn’t get that good without lessons” and when he asked me again to read the email I guess I lost my patience.

I agree we are definitely moving too fast for 6 months. But he’s the one who wants to see me every day and begs me to stay over. He sometimes asks me to attend his lessons and join his hobbies and I happily do so. I don’t think I’m smothering him, he gets mad at me if I don’t see him for over two days. He’s honestly more clingy than me. He sent me the text about breaking up and talking it over for the next few days so I was asking if I should respond to it. I don’t want to be rude by not respond…

Thank you for your response. I agree how I reacted was very immature and I should have handled it with more grace. I am very supportive of his hobbies and very proud of him because he is so talented. Sometimes, I even tag a long with him to his lessons to show my admiration and appreciation. That’s why I felt especially upset when he didn’t try to compromise for my birthday and I reacted negatively. I can see from his side, nobody wants to be with a drama queen. At the same time I also don’t wan…

I’m not upset because it’s my birthday. If he had family or work obligations then I don’t mind. I guess I’m upset because it’s a singing lesson. It was his birthday three weeks ago and I planned a nice dinner and a gift for him. I was hoping because my birthday falls on a weekday and we both have work next day, it would be best for him to cancel his lesson instead of us celebrating after 9pm. I guess I came off as demanding, I admit I’m not good at communication. Another thing is, three days ago…

Yeah, sometimes I think he needs to see a therapist. He says he sacrifices so much for his profession so I think he expects his future wife to cater and accommodate him. It just hurts because I knew all along how selfish he is but kept making excuses for him. That he works so hard and this will be for our future, but in reality he probably never thought about the future with me. He had a week off two weeks ago, and my best friend wanted to meet him so invited him to her birthday dinner. Immediat…

I don’t think he is interested after all because he hasn’t contacted me after I dropped off a box of macarons and a thank you card! It sucks to be rejected but at least I tried and can totally move on :)

Yesterday I dropped off a card and a box of homemade macarons to his receptionist to pass it to him. He hasn’t texted me so I guess he isn’t interested! But it’s okay because I don’t need to see him again.

He's not my family doctor. It was a one time visit because I was in the area but I'm not sure if it makes a difference since I'm on his record now *sigh*. I have to book a follow up with him next week; do you think I should give him a Christmas card with my number in it?

It was just a one-time visit because my family doctor is resigning and she only works 2 days a week. His clinic is actually far from where I live but I was in that area and decided to pop in. I think he's a fairly new doctor so accepts walk ins like me!

I would do that but he doesn't use social media. He's never had a fb account and I doubt he has IG. I will have to visit the clinic again to get a note for a work injury claim and I was thinking of giving him a holiday card with my number in it. That way it's all up to him and even if I don't hear back, I won't see him anyways.

You're right, my sister has no problem with me wanting to get to know him since she doesn't live here anymore. She will be supportive with whatever choices I make but I also don't want to trouble her to find his number for me. Do you have any advice on how I can approach the guy otherwise?

My sister lives in another country and is happily engaged to another man so she is supportive :) I'm just not sure how to go about it from here. If only I met him outside of his clinic then I wouldn't be torn about asking him out!

I mentioned it to my sister and she doesn't mind. However, she no longer speaks to her ex or his friends and from what I know, the guy doesn't use social media so there's no way to reach him outside of the clinic. I may need to go back to the clinic for a follow up appointment next week, should I use this as an opportunity to ask him out? If so, how should I go about it? I definitely don't want to make it uncomfortable for him.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
