Seems like less of an opinion and more of an acknowledgment of a quality post that exemplifies theory, practice and field report- something maybe the Mods want more of in this sub?

No, but I think NoFap is a good direction to take in eliminating toxic habits and starting to find that Twinkle.

I think you feel like this because you are intimidated by him, and the way he makes you feel beta. He mocks you because you allow him to. Once upon a time, you failed a shit test (his mock) that told him (and everyone else) that he can get away with it and use you to make him seem more alpha. The only way to get over this feeling is to assure yourself you indeed are not stupid and stop being so defensive. Next time he mocks you, maybe go with it (agree and amplify) and try to get some laughs out…

Brad Pitt rule Call up the woman you like and ask her on a date. Did she say yes? Great, she probably likes you. What if she makes up an excuse for why she can’t go out? This is the time to employ the Brad Pitt Rule. Imagine that instead of you, Brad Pitt had asked this same woman out. Would she use the same excuse with him? If Brad Pitt asked her on a date, would she still say she had to study or was going to the movies with friends that night? Nope. She would have dropped pretty much anything …

Nobody knows what it means, but it's provocative!

My god. This is absolute gold. I've never felt so confident about going down on a girl before. I can't wait to try this out.

Don't be intimidated by popular kids or social status quo. Be yourself and don't give a shit about what other people think of you, by doing that you'll make true friends and the 'popular' girls will be attracted to you. Approach and be-friend girls you think are cute but don't talk to them to get them to like you. Talk to them to see if you like them and then decide whether or not you want to ask them out or flirt with them or whatever. Have fun kiddo.

My parents are both 50+ y.o. immigrants that don't use English as their first language and are completely un-relatable. Some of my friends' parents are their best friends, I hardly talk to mine besides basic communication. I think I'd have better social skills if I came home and have steady and constant conversation, rather than "Hi mom Hi dad." and then going straight up to my room.

Jesus christ, that's horrible. You'd think these adults know better than to make fun of a kid who doesn't know better.

I read the first half of Mark Manson and it was a great read being self improving and all but that doesn't change the fact that when you obviously show you're talking to a girl for the sole purpose of sleeping with her, it's derogatory, unattractive and ineffective....to SOME women that is. There has to be a build up to the interaction, it's like social foreplay- you meet this guy, you get to know him as a person (who is confident and forward) and you decide whether you trust and like this perso…

But fisherman study the behaviour of fish and use their findings to better their game. In this case, one fish said she doesn't like when guys hit on her up front, although that's one fish's perspective, she's kinda right. In my experience, you have a better chance sleeping with a girl who you met and act with naturally, rather than someone you've met using a cheesy pickup line, or something along the lines of "I'm clearly trying to seduce you into sex.". Now maybe not every girl thinks like this…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
