If she were interested, she wouldn't have let her "ugly troll friend" (yikes at you for that) cockblock you.

Bb, alimony is paid by the higher earner to the lower earner. Not by men to women.

Nah. I thought so in the beginning and I was always inclined to befriend "underdogs", both women and men. Then, I went out of my comfort zone and started making friends with more attractive and outgoing people, both women and men. The most boring group, by far, were the underdog men. Haven't really seen a difference between the women.

"Backup men" is such a male term, lmao. Projection, bb. Anyway, 0.

Babes, no one's getting mad that men pRefeR yoUngEr woMeN (younger women don't prefer you, lmaooo). Fact of life is, beautiful people get nicer treatment (from everyone, women, men, etc.), are more listened to, get taken more seriously, etc., etc. And the other (unfortunate) fact is, the beauty standards for women are stricter. Therefore, women will have to put more effort to receive nice treatment as they age. Istg, y'all will come up with the wildest of theories just to ignore the most obvious…

H-how is it not harmful? If we're talking about subreddits, I remember reading shit on there like "Women are children, treat them as such", "hold frame, dominate her", describing women they hit on/dated/hooked up with using genuinely the most disgusting/chilling language I've ever heard.. Treating women like they are stupid, etc. etc. Maybe you mean "the theory" TRP, but i remember similar phrases being used in the subreddit's 'theoretical' part of the sidebar as well.

Lmao, no healthy early 20s women are lining up for 30+ year-old men. Coming from a 19-year-old, you really don't look appealing to us. And tbh I've seen plenty of mid-20s guys who are already balding and have deep wrinkles, which makes them genuinely look 33. Can't imagine that actual 33-year-olds look any better.

Its "creepy" to you because you don't want men your age to have options lol at this. I'm in my late teens and it's definitely creepy as fuck

The problem is that we have different definitions of low/high power position in a relationship. In my opinion, this is not limited to relationship experience, which is important, but not as much as: social network, finance, emotional maturity, looks (to a certain extent), personality (to a certain extent). I don't mean this as a dig at the general male population, but men tend to be way more immature. And, imo, the more immature a person is, the more power he/she has. This can be an easily hurt,…

I did not say that he is not able to get with a woman his own age. I said that, if he is chasing younger women, the young woman will think that. Why do you think that he has to be in an either high or low power position? The first puts the young woman at risk, the second puts the man at risk. Therefore, why not go for a (±) equal partnership? In this case, both have things to value each other for and pursue the relationship further for.

He should try to get into a relationship with a woman closer to his age.

How is this... controlling? This is the argument of one of my, dare I say, reasonable requirements for a relationship - no big (1-2 years) age gaps.

Wow, trying to turn my own argument into a misogynistic counterpoint. How trp of you. No, it's not about denying agency and I'm not talking about the young women, moreso about the men. If a late 20s+ man is looking for legal teenage or early 20s girl, what does it say about him? It says that he is looking for women first and foremost based on looks. There may be other requirements, but this tells women that, for him, this is the most important one --> makes him unattractive and shallow It says t…

Bruh, I told the same thing to my bf. You know why? I will never let him become a predator, aka chasing more young, naive women. And I am currently young af, so it's not a jealousy thing.

If this offers some perspective, I am a very young woman who is disgusted by older guys dating (or trying to date, anyway) very young women.

Why not though? She wants to be set and have enough money to provide herself a comfortable lifestyle. Maybe this is her dream or life goal. On the other hand, in my opinion, doing something for the sole purpose of attracting someone is a stupid move.

"have claimed this for decades" , "history of humanity" You could not speak in more general terms. When you are presented with facts that contradict your belief system, it is wiser to do some introspection, maybe have a couple of down to earth debates (backed up with something other than anecdotes), rather than continue to be stubborn.

What, my dude? Feminism wants men to shift from 1 partner providing financially and the other - emotionally, to both providing financial and emotional support to each other. This is most definitely not the kind of man feminism wants.

I know this is kind of old, but I still wanted to share my experience. A few years back, there were 2-3 guys I got to know better and had crushes on. However, when they started liking me back, I felt... absolutely disgusted. At the time I didn't know why. Now, some romantic experience later, I realized I don't like to be pursued because it makes me feel like prey. I discovered instead that I enjoy pursuing other people. Simple as that.

"Of course you do, you are a truly transcended individual being who would date men with no job or looks just because of their great wit and persona!" Hmm, what do I see here? Another assumption. The pattern is self-perpetuating at this point, heh? (To respond to your implied question, no, I wouldn't. I value ambition, that is why I am constantly self-improving and looking for a opposite-gendered counterpart who does the same.) I am not going to carry on this debate with a person who cannot use l…

"Predatory interest" - person who initiates contact for the sole purpose of having sex, nothing more, nothing less. (I acknowledge, this definition may vary from person to person, but the general undercurrent stays the same) Well, your 'guess' is, again, wrong, my dude. No, I speak to other boys/men for other reasons than satisfying the urges of my genitalia. You made an assumption based on a generalization, so my wording still stands) Did I mention to have any 'man problems'? No, I did not. It …

Now I am more suspicious of mens' motives when they enter in any type of contact with me, making an initial assumption that they have predatory interests. By 'fucked over' I mean that these types of trp men will use a girl for sexual purposes (without it being a one-night stand and with some type of prior emotional connection) and dump her later for other more beautiful, young women, causing emotional damage to the girl, which will later translate in other areas of her life (hence 'fucked over')…

Damn, it feels like I've written this comment. It's sad how this fucked ideology has affected me and my perception of men but it's better to be aware of their existence rather than living in ignorance and later getting fucked over by one of them. A good thing I've gotten out of all of this tho is some self-improvement tips, so there's that.
