I like your take a lot and I will admit I recognize myself in it, although I am not 100% red pill myself. I just have one problem with your statement: "No individual should know this level of detail such as hypergamy, or AWALT etc. to such a degree. Why not go out into the world and put the learning to the test?" So two things here: Why should individual not know about these things. While I understand that someone in puberty who is still developing mentally might take this things in bad faith an…

It didn't work out. In my social circles, I was known as a guy who really wants family and people were looking at that like some crazy conservative sh**. Worst thing is, since I started hiding my family ambitions, my luck in the dating world increased.

One commentator here mentioned something which truly resonates with me. I am 32 atm, and whoever I find now will not be someone I shared my youth with. While to many people it may seem I am living in my own past, this thing really matters. From poverty to where I am now, I was not with my "future SO", but the "future SO" will benefit from my years of living in modesty and saving money for future. Now, what other commentator did not touch upon, but I will: once you get in relationship, girls from…

I did not want to just get it wet and it probably had influence. I do not want to show off, but somehow when I get into relationship I always do it with a girl few levels above me in attraction scale. And I will not lie to you, it played to my ego a bit also.

I am not sure about desperation part. There was something missing in my life for sure, but I would not bet majority of desperation came from need for sex. I am in much "stupider" mode when I want some companionship, while when I just want to "get it wet", somehow I think more straight. Relationships started in different ways, but nothing out of ordinary (meet at work, through friends etc.). Also I am incapable of faking my intention, I am as transparent as it comes. My main problem in relationsh…

That is the Romeo and Juliet scenario and I understand this perspective. But in my opinion there are more cases where people got in trouble for not listening to their elders. There is good advice and bad advice, but more often than not, I notice people skip over good advice and expect later on to not be reminded they were warned. Just my two cents

If we are all individuals left to our own devices, I would expect for countries to be organized in a fashion that if you have a problem, fix it yourself. However, in most countries there is a significant expense in giving money to poor people and kids who get raised in the poor environment. Remove this from society and only then I will accept we are not part of the collective. And sorry but your last paragraph is just not balanced, women get to explore, while guys get to work? Are you serious?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 01:47 PM

Not so much, because from my experience, a lot of people around me would avoid so much emotional trauma if only they listened a bit more to their elders. Part of being younger is being rebellious, but in my book it is not an excuse for stupid decisions. Therefore, the electric plug comparison

It wasn't actually the low point in my life. I actively dated bitches (LTRs), because quite honestly, I was complete freaking moron blinded by lust. I really had lustful sexual lives with my GFs (not that I had it a lot in my life) and due to inexperience I couldn't recognize some character traits on them which would later bite me in the ass. Also, I never click with low-n women, mainly because I am extremely talkative and jokester and they always think I am some kind of "player" and start avoid…

We are thinking along the same lines, what I wanted to point out is that existence of marriages in today society is not proof that people are finding their happiness and love. I am not sure how old are you, but I lived throughout 90s where divorce was being normalized in the society (I come from a place where arranged marriages do not exist for already some time, so most married people were married by choice) and that definitely left "a stain" on my way of thinking. I would say that existence of…

I am sorry, but wtf.....? You obviously have previous trauma with guys who "love bomb" you and you proclaimed them red pill because you do not like both things and your brain said "enough of description". And because you have trauma, you are literally the proof this shit works :) Someone who is a bit of a pushover is not a normal person. This is your extreme selfishness literally swimming out of your mouth. For you the normal dude is someone who is going to let you walk over him here and there. …

I do not want to be devils advocate. But every girl somehow claims that their guy doesn't use the "game". Yet every guy will admit he snatched that girl using the "game". Btw, you completely misrepresented pill logics, because your guy actually sounds more "red pill" than "blue pill", as in he put the effort in to be attractive and was grinding success, which is kind of in the center of the RP philosophy.

Being conscious is one thing, but the society back then didn't give any social importance to such dilemma. From that perspective it is a new phenomena in my opinion.

Erotic validation was almost nonexistent in context of marriages in previous times and was only "introduced" in the sexual revolution. The real dilemma which you are alluding to is a bit different in my opinion: "why commit when empirical evidence indicates that the commitment is not a requirement for the sex". What most people fail to realize in my opinion that the value of deeds provided to you is almost completely dictated by the context and someone's past sets the part of the aforementioned …

I agree men aren't traditional. But come on, really, do you think women do not expect men to be traditional? Many people here have tried to give reasonable and nuanced answers, but I will be blunt as it goes. Whenever I had casual sex with a girl (most of them feminists) and I decide to not pursue relationship, I am called shallow and claims of me using that girl are being thrown around. It doesn't matter that those girls would usually be the loudest one in preaching sexual liberation. "It is aw…

Or are you just trying to find the reason to pat yourself on the back for sticking your dick in someone? Honestly you leave impression as such an asshole just trying to poke at someone The responsibility part is just something I was thinking I was writing to other person (I had a discussion with a girl in parallel), my bad on multi tasking.

About your last paragraph, I never wanted to claim that, maybe I just wrongly expressed myself. I am a type of person who never blames my exes for my relationships, I always blame myself for allowing them to happen. I hope you understand while I do empathize with you, I still hold you most responsible for your own dating life by extension. But that doesn't mean you are bad or lost value. First and foremost, I am sincerely sorry for your negative experiences, hopefully future gets better. My question was influenced by some anecdotal experiences, but if you do not fit the mold, actually my hat off to you. Just a word of advice (if I may): many men can smell "problems with exes" and will not consider you girlfriend material because of it (I will admit, I also think like that). Everyone makes mistakes along the way, I am no saint either. But guys have far more steady preferences compared to the girls. Another thing about your comment, yes that young girl maybe used you for a car, but a car is much cheaper than a house. Again latter is more effort needed. Let me try another angle on this topic, since it has been discussed ten years on this subreddit and it always goes in circle. Let's completely also get rid of the value system (youth, beauty etc....) Now, even most women would admit that their preferences changed over years from excitement to stability. And it happens around late 20s/early 30s. Not only that, but most women admit that their previous choices were stupid etc. Now big question for you, why would anyone want to date someone who admi…

Sorry, but my experience is completely different. During my PhD days, I was actively playing basketball and I was playing in the band. However, girls would always ask me: "What else am I doing in my life?" because for them, doing a PhD in physics is simply boring and I should overcompensate with interesting hobbies, so in the end, I could only talk about playing in band. Not a single girl had a steady hobby which was going for multiple years, but are constantly jumping hobbies after month or two…

Self esteem is a nice catch phrase, where you are not in position to admit why you actually love your partner. I had a slight glow up phase in my 20s and suddenly all people that thought I was arrogant, suddenly were admiring my self-esteem (still cannot believe this happened to be honest). Also, when I stopped having financial problems, suddenly everyone noticed my boost in self esteem.

I think you missed one huge point, young people are not delighted to follow advice. I heard many advices like this fall flat regardless of gender in that demographic. It sucks but it is what it is. The part where you write about girl "stringing" the guy, I think it is not a gender thing, but much rather an individual thing. Every girl with backbone says no clear as day, the ones who string are usually completely useless in every aspect of their lives, since confrontation is a skill which needs t…

You do not understand the difference between to give something or to be paid to give something. Huge difference. What seems to completely go over your head is that the way you act reflects on you. You cannot just put "I want this so what" label on it and think it excuses your behavior. If two parties think in the way "I will not do something for him/her until he/she does it to me" than nothing will happen. You are detriment to your relationships and definitely not a contributor. "The ones I want to date don't mind" Let me reveal you a secret as a guy, we do not mind when we observe a woman as ass and tit…

I get irritated by any human being who is purely driven by emotions, because it shows the lack of maturity, intelligence and self-control. I am not saying everyone should be stoic monks who never experience any emotion, but how you react upon it is what it counts. Just admit it, you do not like STEM people because it is not a profession that you will proudly show off to friends. And being an engineer definitely correlates more to the competence compared to charisma or emotional intelligence. Do not take this as a personal attack, but in my experience people who use catch phrases like social and emotional intelligence are usually gaslighters with no capacity of self reflection. To some extent I agree with you, but expecting someone to constantly be kind to others, while that same thing is not reciprocated to the person in question is borderline mental torture. The stupidest analogy I can think of is that you are forced to cook for some people, but are forbidden to eat with that same people. At one moment, you will start resenting cooking and soon enough you get boggers and come (oh boy do I love that Southpark song)

Also additional thing about "past is in the past". Most people want ambitious partners and are dumbfounded when they figure out that someone with ambition has a past of ambition. In many relationships I had to answer to girls how I got my saving, live independently in my early 20s from poor background etc. etc. What always actually proceeds from this is that they do not respect such a life decision (which emotionally hurts me more than anything), because you guessed it "past is in the past", but…

You are fighting a battle which you cannot win, because most people accept below average stuff in their life with mantra "I am happy with what I have". Second of all, most of people are narcistic as f*** and honestly do not care about others. In general, yes making a woman feel special will probably spice up your sex life, but only under one condition: if she is actually grateful for your effort. I sincerely believe I made my exes feel special, but the idea of reciprocity with some of them completely went over their head. I hope I did not maybe sabotage some part of my relationships due to not being grateful for something, because it is by far the stupidest way to sabotage a LTR

Inside obligations I count all of family time, gf time etc. If you said all the time, I would agree with you, but an functional adult is allowed to do in his free time only one hobby if he has only one. My last 3 gfs complained about my gaming, although I never took time to game over hanging out with them. And I mean it, never. Earned more money, higher educated than all of them, have my own place unlike them, have plethora of hobbies…

I will be blunt in this response. Idiots have idiotic opinions l, that is it. Check most of responses and you will see that the gamer is always assumed to be addicted. Simply put, a lot of girls do not like it as activity and are full of stereotypes. I was raised in family where guys were often hunters and fishermen. They would go for full weekend with their friends doing their own thing and never have I ever heard they are considered addicts. When I bought guitar and jammed in garage with my fr…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 03:15 PM

Why is it always assumed that the gamet is addicted and not functional. I saw my gf drink a glass of wine yesterday.....can you believe what an alcoholic?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 03:10 PM

Some games require dedication and talent. There is a reason competitive games have top of the crop people. Let me guess, in your free time, you do not like stereotypes? Does traveling require talent? How many people are making money of travelling?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 03:07 PM

How many hobbies does an individual has to have in free time for your taste?

Most girls I know are self sufficient and despise feminism. You are just extending definition of feminism to suit your narrative. Egalitarianism is the correct word for having opinion that everyone should have equal rights and I am 100 percent for that. I understand there are double standards for both genders in certain situations, yet I never heard feminists as a whole to protest for something where guys are behind. For example, feminism secured gender only scholarships to fix the gender disbal…

Blatant sexism to be honest. Also if above is something that should be valued, why do we tell nice guys that being nice is not enough?

Dude, your story does not add up. Like at all. Plus, from your other comments it is visible you are low-effort hypocrite. Peace out

From my experience, women do not want man with high standard but with the standard which is just slightly below her. Whenever I reject or leave a girl I never heard: "wow, good for you have standards", but rather "why cant you see I am perfect for you". Also most women who claim this are narcissist. This is the easiest way to self boost without doing or achieving anything. How many times I heard girls claim that they like that thier man has standards, but everytime I knew guy from before, they w…

Your question misses the point. You are turning conversation who is more personally hurt, instead of acknowledging that crime is a crime. If someone doesn't mind being ass grabbed in public and someone comes and feels her out (complete stranger), is it a crime or not without explicit consent?

I said every time: "Do not expect relationship." Thry just ignored this sentence every time and labeled me as an asshole. I never lied like that to girls. However, they always ignore this statement and expect relationship. Also, of course, I get labelled an asshole everytime. Ok, once was I a complete asshole to FWB. Her: "Real man see more than sex in woman." Me: "Yeap and they usually see more in women who do not fish for relationship with sex" She did not take it well.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 02:08 PM

It does not matter whether they are selfish or not. My question was targeted at your definition of empowerement, which btw, is incredibly narcissistic and dangerous. If this is the type of empowerement women are searching for.......dear lord
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 02:44 PM

Would you say criminals are empowered?

Are we the same person? One of more often things that happen with me is my weed smoking. I am not a stoner, just like a puff when I get rid of all real life responsibilities. However, there is always one ex whi did all the drugs and suddenly it is my fault they dated them...

As someone who was not very popular during teen years, I found that both males and females insult the same way when you are not popular. When i would respond to male, fair game, but if I responded to women, women would claim fair game, but males would run to the defence of those individuals. Point of the story, male thirst is the one who is saving women from criticism. Girls bitch about girls all the time and that is the most hardcore criticism.

Trust me, go for it. Nothing to loose. If you get burned enough times, once the normal guy appears, you will be undatable (source: my experience with latinas, had to dump every single one)

Yeah, most of my male friends from Mexico were complete assholes. But to be honest, all Latinas were defending them and calling me way too traditional, so towards them no empathy. But since you seem a like a nice person to chat, stay strong and eventually you will find someone normal. Ok, it is Mexico, relatively normal ;) Best of luck

Sincere question, why would you toleratr that behaviour, I simply do not get it. I remember she was always commenting how noone was treating her like I did, however, she started taking it for granted

Are you trying to convince me girls never used this trick. Because, I seen it with my own eyes. Also, ehat is the deal of people adapting to reality by finding the worst common denominator. I am not aiming it at you personally, but I cannot grasp my head around it (hence my username)

As I said, in my culture that is something you will rarely observe. Also, as a guy you can be with 50 girls in one year, but if there was any time overlap, that is where the line is drawn and you will be bashed.

Where I am from, if you ask a girl out, it is expected you are not seeing other people at that moment. For her and few others, this does not seem to be case.

Of what I picked up from few experiences with North American girls, it seems that just because you are dating for a while, it doesn't mean you are not dating other people, until it is verbally agreed from both sides, even if you had sex together, spent weekend etc. For me that is strange behaviour.

European here, but not from UK. The way I see it the Atlantic separates two different dating cultures. For example, there is no exclusivity discussion in most European cultures and when I dated a Mexican girl I was stunned when she initiated the exclusivity talk (biggest WTF of my life). I believe that this factors to the presence of "soft harems" across the USA and neighbouring countries. Also, social networks were late a bit in the Europe compared to the USA and I believe we as a whole are sti…

I believe this is where society interests and ideology disucssions clash very hard. No country ever will provide equity in the case of abortion because it goes against bodily autonomy (abortion, guy wants to keep a baby) and it goes against societal interests (financial abortion). So what you are reading in this thread is basically people trying to rationalize inequality because they would rather die than admit they are having a douboe standard.

I admit my wording might be slightly clumsy, but supply and demand principles apply to people also. You could analyse the whole dichotomy between low/high value through the perspective of demand (many define it exactly like that)

Balance restores itself. When the new supply & demand is present, the market reacts. Plus, you allready have countries proposing pronatality policies because the trends are clear. The instituion of nuclear family will live on, the same way ot survived last 3000 years.

My only indicator so far was how much two-way respect she expects in relationship? If someone expects that relationship doesnt impact their individuality at all, it usually mean that person is only capable of having STR or FWB. Another anecdote, I dated a girl and at one point I made her nice dinner and she started crying. She couldnt believe someone would do that for her. She was 27 and not virgin. Guess the dating history.......

I agree with the second part, but not first. I am mostly alone and do not mind it, but relationships definitely bring a twist to your life which canot be observed when you are alone.

What makes someone who minds being alone desperate or lesser person?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/21 09:50 AM

Please do not take this response personal, as I will answer through lenses of my anecdotal evidence. Most of the time IRL, both male and female vastly overstate what they bring to the table, therefore from the outer perspective it seems like they are having unreasonable standars. For example, I am not a f-boy and have relatively low N count, but still I found myself in a following situation: Her: "I know I am good looking" Me (thinking in my head): "My exes look like Victoria secret angel compar…
