The point I was really trying to make (and kind of faltered with) is that if I would've been cut as a kid I would've had a peace of mind I didn't have growing up. I always wondered "what if?" And once you're circumcised there is no going back. It's done. You don't have to wonder anymore. I always saw myself as different in a very embarrassing and personal way, and I hated that. That shit stays with you, (and I know this might be a bit of a hyperbole) I imagine the way racism does to those who ha…

It was an extremely personal decision for me to make, and I really don't appreciate the sarcastic tone. I made a decision that gave me peace of mind and has made me happier. I feel better for what I did, and you can go fuck yourself if you think otherwise.

the thing to remember is that while you might see yourself as taking a stand for men everywhere or some other ideological bs, it's your kid who has to deal with it. if he finds himself in a locker room and looks different than everyone around him, he'll hurt and have to learn to cope... which sucks. you can tell him that he's totally normal, more so than the other kids even, but ultimately some of the stupidest, meanest kids in school can have the biggest impact. it'd be great if every man in th…

Fair enough. Knowing what I know and feel now though, I wish it would've been done when I was an infant. I have no regrets about having it done, wish I would've had it done sooner, and feel great about it now. To me it just feels better. There's no other way to describe it, and unless you've lived both ways you'll never really know the difference.

Yeah, it's no problem. I'll tell you that I was 20 when I had the operation, but I'm a little reluctant to give away my current age (sorry, paranoia's a bitch). It's been a few years since I had it done though. I always felt like the odd man out when I was with other guys and always felt like something was just... wrong with me. That might not be the right word, but it's in the ballpark. Another aspect of it (and these are horrible and probably mostly stereotypes, I know, but it's the truth) was…

This is so wrong I can't even believe it, and I can say this because I was cut later in life. I've spent plenty of time on both sides of the fence and I actually got noticeably bigger after being cut. I personally feel like any argument about losing size for having been cut is complete bullshit. I grew up in an area where almost everyone I knew was circumcised (seriously, only 1 other kid in my class wasn't) and it was really rough and embarrassing to not be. I realize that everyone on here is g…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
