I've always wondered why girls that I joking tell the "if you were a pirate, would you have your parrot on this shoulder or this one" got so easily attached to me. That shitty joke always gets a giggle at the very minimum and gave me an excuse to kino. Talk about underestimating the value of early kino.

This is one of the most useful post I've read in this subreddit. I too had problems with my appearance but /r/mfa and posts like this make it impossible to not feel good about how you look. Thank you

This is amazing advice and I can't believe I didn't do this before. I don't have a problem with approaching, negging, rejection, or kino...but if the convo gets stale I really start to get nervous. I will have to try this from now on.

I never ask bland questions like "what are your hobbies" sounds like an interview question. What always works for me is asking casually followed by a neg like "so what do you for fun, are you like a bookworm or something"

Wow thanks for constantly providing tidbits of useful advice.

That's the most useless piece of advice I've ever read on reedit. You can start by keeping your morals to yourself. Good day

If your going to a bar or club don't use pickup lines. They're expecting this, observe and say something relative. Bonus points for approaching a group of 2+ girls, nothing says confidence like jumping straight into the lions den.

Think of it this way, when you're doubting whether you should approach a stranger tell yourself this "I have nothing to loose, and something to gain". You can choose not to and keep asking yourself "what if..." or just do it. Check this out, its on the intro to this subreddit: To the introverts, nice guys, AFC's, new to pick-up, inner game people - listen to two mp3's and it just might change your life.

Or if she doesn't know her lefts from rights. Nothing worse then an attractive girl that acts braindead.

Got married when I was 18yrs old after boot camp, I guess the idea of getting paid twice as much made me make a silly decision. 9 times out of 10, most Marines get married just to live out in town and get BAH.

That's what I was thinking as well. I guess going for broke was the wrong choice of words, what I meant was instead of doubting myself I would just make a move. I hate situations where it feels like I'm not making any progress.

I thank you sir, I've always had trouble putting on a random smile. I used to think of the scene from super troopers "I'm already pulled over, pull over further!" to smile but it's effect has worn off.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
