Ironically, progressive women are still obsessed with status in menmmm i think it might be rare amongst reddit women but tbh in real life i think regular people do feel that way | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/08/25 02:11 AM
The hate on passport bros just proves that alot of women just dont want some men to be happyYou lack the nuance and the capacity to engage with this conversation. Everything you’ve written here comes off as though you read at an 8th grade level. Take care. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 07:53 PM
The hate on passport bros just proves that alot of women just dont want some men to be happyMeh, that’s just bc they forced everyone too. I find Japanese and Indian men most attractive personally, and of course Black guys too. White men lack the it factor for me. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 07:50 PM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Yes absolutely. I’m glad we could have this discourse. It’s so refreshing as I get so confounded by the highly reactive perspectives. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 03:45 PM
The hate on passport bros just proves that alot of women just dont want some men to be happyYou’re definitely white. That neanderthal gene in you is JUMPING out lmfaooo | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 03:40 PM
Ironically, progressive women are still obsessed with status in meni don’t. i don’t think it’s wrong to dismiss someone for their weight. male or female. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 06:33 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Hoe math is like 45 years old, single and miserable. that’s not the guy i’m listening to i’m not gonna lie gang | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 06:07 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Grazie mille | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 05:51 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Oh, I mean that’s just been my personal experience. I go out, I talk to men, of course I do! I just don’t sleep with them or audition for them. If a guy has to sleep with me in order to decide if he wants me to be his girlfriend lmao I’m good on that. I’m actually super progressive but the “no sex before commitment” thing is the one traditional value I actually think is quite sensible. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 05:41 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Yeah I don’t really care about dating men though. Like yeah of course it would be cool if partnership happens, but I think these women desperately lining up to be just another guy’s option are wearing themselves out, out of desperation. This usually never works out for them, which is why so many women continue to be unhappy, miserable and bitter by the time they hit 45. The ironic part is, as a woman, I find that all the free time I have in not desperately chasing men has allowed me to build up … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 05:12 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?I understand. That’s why I said I don’t think women should rush into sex without commitment. I think that’s the “traditional” way of doing it anyways. Me personally, I’m not going to sleep with a guy just because he’s hot and we are compatible. That would be crazy. I think all women should that. Simply not have sex until there is clear commitment. It would also mean being okay with. ring single of course. Which to me is far preferable to the hurt and pain that comes as a result of wanting commit… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 03:39 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Great perspective. Thank you! | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 03:17 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Hmm, I mean I’d need you to define what you mean by “exciting” - you mean like having tattoos and driving a motorcycle? I mean hell yeah 100%, that’s not common in the USA or most western nations. Also driving a motorcycle is fucking cool - as in being a successful artist or musician or anything else that’s not common indicates risk taking. People are excited by risk taking, and once again I still don’t find this to be some revolutionary perspective. I thought this was all a given. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 03:17 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Oh, I’m saying I’m not interested in sleeping with a man and then afterwards he make some decisions. Personally I find that strange. I think that’s how a lot of younger women screw themselves over, which why I don’t think women should rush into sex with men. Also, most women who are sane feel the same about men too, the whole “let’s go with it and see if I like this guy.” That’s why I don’t think women should rush into sex. Because it always puts women at a disadvantage bc women have a greater c… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:59 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Perhaps. So then why do men get so upset when women more than dick in a man? When she was kindness and personality and financial stability in addition to him being attractive? And from your comment, it sounds like men want similar things from women beyond her just being attractive. And as far as the “I only have eyes for you” maybe that’s a generational thing. I’m in my 20s and every female friends I have ever had and even girls I have talked to, we have loved our boyfriends but were under no il… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:51 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?I agree, and yeah I think for most people the part that they can’t stomach is sitting with the truth of their deeply set negative feelings about themselves, and their fears. For most people, they are unable to sit with negative feelings about themselves without it turning into suicidal wallowing. The emotional negation to examine your feelings is gone, and when someone cannot even examine their feelings, thoughts and impulses from an impartial perspective, how on earth or in heaven are they goin… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:47 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women? No sane women actually thinks that. I think what it is though, is that there are men who seem to be totally cool with pedophilic-adjacent thoughts and perspectives, which is just weird. And those men, despite being, I’m sure, a minority are VERYYY loud and very polarizing. Also coupled with the fact that no one who is online a lot of mentally well adjusted lets be real lmao. Then vice versa for women too. So it makes sense that these every reactive, emotional takes get all these upvotes and resp… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:44 AM
The hate on passport bros just proves that alot of women just dont want some men to be happyThere has a been and targeted conditioning to associate lighter skin with positive attributes and darker skin with negative attributes. I thought we all learned this in high school. Are you white? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:37 AM
The hate on passport bros just proves that alot of women just dont want some men to be happyAre you white/lighter skinned? Bc if so, you’re actually just talking based on an experience that does not affect you at all. In a world that has been razed by colonialism and racism and colorism, you came onto reddit to say that you don’t think the preference for light skin is discrimination. Is it crack? Biologically speaking, if lighter skinned has always been the preference, it would have been bred out of all brown races at least 1000 years ago. You’d barely have any darker skinned people. I… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:35 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Hold on, how are you putting yourself at a massive disadvantage? I want to make sure I’m following your mindset. Also, there is no such thing as a person that is EXACTLY right for you. I think this is the pitfall a lot of people, men and women, fall into. All humans are individuals, with their own idiosyncrasies and behavioral traits and patterns, developed as a response to or an intentional deviation from the environment they were raised. I do expect any man out there to be exactly right for me… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:31 AM
Ironically, progressive women are still obsessed with status in menYou likely want a woman who you’re not only attracted to but has a few other traits outside of physical attractiveness too. Women want the same thing. Financial STABILITY is not a woman wanting you for your money. Are you in your early twenties? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:26 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Well, yes. Men move the exact same way. That’s just basic attraction. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:24 AM
Ironically, progressive women are still obsessed with status in menBro unless you’re just actually cooked and chopped in the face, the mind and the body, I can’t believe you. Let me ask some genuine questions. Is it that you feel you’re genuinely ugly, or you’re like super duper short or something like this? Also, how old are you?? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/08/25 02:24 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?I only hope that you LEAD with this when entering into a partnership with women, and that you definitely disclose this before sex. If I as a woman, had a man tell me that he is not likely to see me as a long term partner regardless of compatibility (even though honestly it is the same for me as a woman), I would still date him, but I would be WAY more guarding and cautious. I would not open up, I would not share as much of myself. If I were to sleep with him (unlikely), I would still do it with … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 07:33 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?exactly....they love makeup. they love the doll/polished look and they know it. they just dont want it to look heavy and cakey and if you know how to do your makeup will, it won't. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 07:24 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?a lie. if that was the case all these girls with faces FULL of makeup with millions of mostly male followers would not be a thing. men LOVE when women wear makeup. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 07:24 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?he IS hot. good almighty that boy is FOOOIIINEEE. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 07:18 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Right but when women act on biology they REVOLT. The same way biologically men want younger women is the same way biologically women want the hottest, richest guys. But how come when we say it, then all of a sudden it's "women are just sooo awful" HUH? Mate, I thought we were talking biology?? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 07:14 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women? The thing is, women ALSO find younger men more attractive. Easily. The difference is that they don't create a whole pathology out of it designed to shame older men. If you were to ask a woman if young brad pitt is hotter than older brad pitt, the answer is a RESOUNDING yes! Or young denzel washington vs older denzel washington, etc. The difference is that women are not socially conditioned to throw away, bash and disparage older men for their looks the way men do to women. And there is a reason … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 07:09 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women? The issue is that people for some reason, idk if it a lack on intellectual capacity, seem to ignore the second half of that statement, which is that it is a condition that is not just "biological" but social. "20 year olds" is an interesting age selection c you can look hot and young until you're like 35 or maybe 40, especially, for example, black women who age extremely well due to melanin content, and IF | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 07:05 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?I think I agree with, and it's also why so much of these conversations are so confounding to me. It's like so many people don't want to give up an INCH of concession. Making these BLANKET statements about either gender based on feelings and vibes alone, which is really just deep-set insecurities. And what tends to happen is that a woman will make a blanket statement, and a man who is NOT like that takes offense to it, or a man will make a blanket statement, and a woman who is NOT like that disag… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 07:01 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?I'm not gonna lie, I do agree and I see this in both of my sisters. They absolutely do NOT want to hear criticism of ANY kind. It is triggering to them, like an assault on their ENTIRE identity. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:57 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Out of genuine curiosity, if you were not attracted to her and did not have the hots for her what made you decide to be in a relationship with her? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:55 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women? Not really. I, like many other women, are not going to audition for a man lmfao. There is WAY too much life to be living, money to make, friends, traveling, experiences in this world to be hung up on sex and relationships. And maybe it's just me but, I don't crave a romantic relationship with a man. I'm an attractive woman but I don't really care about sex. So it does give me some power in this arena. I enjoy going out and getting attention, from men and women, for my looks, and that satisfies m… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:51 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women? So what IS the punishment? Be clear. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:47 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women? And so if a woman refuses to sleep with a man and to not talk to men that think like this, I think that is fair. Except men apparently don't, because lo and behold "male loneliness crisis" smh. Like after reading your comment, I'm like oh okay, if that's how guys think, then I'm good on that. Except it's not how every man thinks. Just you and the echo chambers you frequent. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:43 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women? No woman thinks her man is the only one in the world for her. She just cares enough to VALUE him and treat him like he is. To place him on a pedestal, above the other men. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:41 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?exactly. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:37 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women? No one sane thinks all women are wonderful. That would be delusional. Women and men both have their toxic tendencies, both on an individual level and en masse. I left a longer comment under his post which you can go see, but essentially bro said women liked him bc he is attractive. No shit. People, regardless of gender, are attracted to people who are physically attractive. I bet 100% if his frail friend hit the gym and built up muscles he would instantly be a hot ticket item with the girls, the… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:37 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?I responded. Longer post above but he pretty much just said "women liked me because I am attractive" yeah no shit | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:34 AM
What are some secrets men dont tell women?Dude, come on. You are pretty much saying women liked you because you were attractive. Yeah, DUH. Women like physically attractive men the same way men like physically attractive women REGARDLESS of personality. When women speak of "just be yourself" "I'm looking for a man with personality", implicitly the understanding is that they will ALREADY be attracted to that man. Are there younger women between 18 and 23 that go ONLY for looks and are willing to be mistreated by a handsome asshole? Sure,… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:34 AM
Reddit women are a minority the basic "normie" girl is pretty darn patriarchalPariah was his own emotional projection on the dynamic. However, I do think the average person on reddit likely thinks, a lot, maybe too much. Also might be intensely on the spectrum. I, personally, could do all the social things, hang out and be out every weekend but that shit is boring and empty to me. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 06:17 AM
Ironically, progressive women are still obsessed with status in menThe question is, WHY are unattractive men upset that they can't get attractive women?? I am CONFUSED. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 05:54 AM
Ironically, progressive women are still obsessed with status in menThis is false. Most women just want a guy that is fit (i.e. goes to the gym like any other normal human), makes like 50-60k a year and is genuine. Honest to god. Of course this can individually vary as to whether or not she is attracted to you, personally, but everyone makes their own choice on what is attractive to them or not. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 05:53 AM
Ironically, progressive women are still obsessed with status in menYou were dating women of all races? Or just white and white-skinned women? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 05:51 AM
Ironically, progressive women are still obsessed with status in menYes there are, actually. You just have to be willing to do the work to tailor each resume to fit the job description, include the key terms in your skills section and write a cover letter, which you can easily use AI for then tweak. This is what women men bro. Women are doing these things, and then saving and stacking that money. Most of us don't have some rich father or husband or boyfriend - I myself am currently single and helping my mom with the house. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/25 05:50 AM
High-school girls know a simple compliment will get them everywhere with men.Nah I don’t think all men are pedophiles. Which is why I had an initially adverse reaction, bc that ish is not normal. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 02:43 PM
| -2 | High-school girls know a simple compliment will get them everywhere with men.Okay your comment is very understandable. The original title was crazy | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 02:28 PM |
I am so tired...You know what I do agree with that. I think a lot of that has to do with male standards though. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 02:26 PM
I am so tired...Exactly - this entire subreddit is an echo chamber. The men who are here will get a very particular view of women. The same way the women who frequent those will get a very particular, and negative, view of men. Both are extreme. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 01:10 PM
| -1 | I am so tired...objectively wrong. your first two facts are objectively incorrect. like a simple google search led to a fact sheet that proved you wrong instantly. and i suspect that you know you’re wrong, but your emotional reasoning will not allow you to accept statistics as facts. are you mentally stable? bc honestly, if you’re not, there is no point in continuing to interact further. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 10:50 AM |
| -1 | It's sickening on how people will instantly go from "Pedophiles deserve the wood chipper" to "where was she when I was a kid" simply because the pedophile is a woman. Not "people." "People" are not the ones saying "where was she when I was a kid." That is other men saying that. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 09:34 AM |
| -4 | High-school girls know a simple compliment will get them everywhere with men.Whoa whoa whoa....are you a high school aged guy? Because I can't help but feel a lil weird here. Why are fully grown adult men so susceptible to an underaged child, regardless of her level of attractiveness. Idk. Like you don't see women losing their resolve and melting at the knees because a highschool boy gave them a compliment, however cute. So why are men so susceptible? Not baiting, looking for genuine and honest responses | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 09:32 AM |
I am so tired...Same way you cannot stalk male echo chambers. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 09:28 AM
I am so tired...Okay but... Nearly 99% of perpetrators of rape and sexual assault are male. Most trafficking victims are female. Men are responsible for the majority of m*urders, and child sxual abuse. So do men really want to take care of and protect women? The stats say...no. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 09:27 AM
I am so tired...Millions of women took jobs in the factories during WWII. There was literally a whole poster about it :/ | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 09:25 AM
I am so tired...Yeah but voting right wing is literally cutting off your nose to spite your face. Voting right wing screws us all over. Literally :/ | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 09:24 AM
I am so tired...Plenty of women work really shitty jobs too though :/ | /r/MensRights | 30/06/25 09:24 AM
A list of some things feminists seem to not understand due to having female privilegeSome of these make sense but others are deeply emotional reasoning. I feel like all the men congregating here are struggling. I get it, life’s not easy. But there are a lot of men and women out there who are able to get into relationships and live great lives. Commiserating here and what you think you don’t have is only going to keep you miserable. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/06/25 10:36 AM
| -9 | A list of some things feminists seem to not understand due to having female privilegeYeah, being assaulted and robbed by another man. Women are not targeting men just because they’re men. ? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/06/25 10:34 AM |
Men who demand traditionalism and submissiveness from women without being competent himself will never deserve it and should not get it.Most women have zero issue with this. Many women become SAHM every day. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/06/25 05:05 AM
How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?I wouldn’t say that friend. If you go and see what women who are considered “ugly” say about their experiences, it’s pretty mf miserable. They don’t get any free opportunities. Even I as an attractive brown skinned woman, in places like Miami or LA, for example, I’ve heard women say that they only let white or white-skinned women into certain clubs. For me, and for many of my friends, we don’t pursue men bc there’s a way bigger chance of getting lead on, manipulated, used ghosted. I also persona… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/06/25 04:56 AM
Most men aren’t privileged, they are just suffering differently and it’s not a competitionThis such a weird, bitter and emotional comment. What place does an ad hominem like this have in a rational exchange of ideas? You sound deeply emotionally unregulated. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/06/25 04:41 AM
Most men aren’t privileged, they are just suffering differently and it’s not a competitionYou got this spot on 100% | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/06/25 04:34 AM
I like this communityI agree with you! I’m extremely against conscription and the draft, I think it’s twisted. Although, if we’re being honest, men have yet to fully organize for their rights on a national or global scale , as it relates to issues that primarily affect men. Also, while men are told they have to live their lives a certain way, other than conscription, there haven’t been laws preventing men from living as they pleased. As a man, you don’t get jailed or receive penalties if you’re not a breadwinner. Th… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/06/25 03:26 AM
I like this communityI truly hear you. I think so many men struggle because they’re not raised to feel free to express the full range of the human experience. It is heartbreaking. However, to touch on the suicide point, when you look at the full picture, men and women attempt at the same rates, but men are more likely to do die by suicide due to men choosing more violent methods. I did a bit of research and found that while women are more likely to experience IPV, the rates look about the same. I’m not denying the e… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/06/25 03:20 AM
I like this communityWell, if I can engage with you meaningfully on this, men making up the overwhelming majority of suicides isn’t because men have more suicidal ideation - it’s because they’re more likely to use more violent means of ending it. Which is so heartbreaking regardless of how you put it. When it comes to gender based lethal violence, there is some definition conflation there. Men are not targeted specifically because they are male (as in the thought from other men isn’t “let’s attack that guy because h… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/06/25 03:07 AM
I like this communityI’d really, really love to engage with you directly on this. I’m truly feeling so much the pain you have endured. I’m feeling you as I read this. Do you feel like there’s this demonization of men that happens? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/06/25 02:57 AM
I like this communityHere’s the issue though: misandry and misogyny have two very different global contexts and consequences. Misandry, at most, makes men feel bad. Misogyny kills women, actively. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 04:12 PM
I like this communityCan I ask, genuinely, what are the toxic standards of masculinity that you believe feminism espouses? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 04:08 PM
I like this communityI think that’s because in the past, calm egalitarianism was not what brought about civil rights (as it relates to afro-americans) or women’s right as it relates to the suffragettes. Or even worker’s rights or employment laws. I think a lot of that vim and passion has remained. If we’re being honest, men have never had to fight for the right to be employed, or to not be forced to make a decision with their bodies against their will. Not collectively, as a matter of governmental institution. Men w… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 04:06 PM
I like this communityI understand where you’re coming from, however I want to genuinely ask: what rights do you believe men should have that they don’t have? What men’s rights are actively being curtailed or violated in 2025? In what ways have men been historically demeaned, shamed or discriminated against? I’m not baiting. I’m here bc I value other people’s perspectives as well. But a lot of the logic here seems to be emotional and anecdotal rather than objective and empirical. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 04:02 PM
How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?so i assume your partner obviously does not think or feel the way you described in your post? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 03:55 PM

How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?I hate you feel this way. But who you are is worthy despite whatever you look like Have you tried looking to date or befriend people outside of your ethnicity or racial group? Or in a scene you typically wouldn’t frequent? I’m not trying to be condescending or anything, but sometimes I feel like some men want a very specific type of woman to be interested in them. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 03:52 PM
How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?Wow I would have liked to see that sub where that woman said that. You know, what I’ve noticed is that there’s a massive tendency of humans to have a hive mind about things. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 03:50 PM
How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?Hm. I mean, “womens” experiences vary across the board and privilege factors in immensely. I’m sure when you say “women” you’re likely thinking of white or white-skinned women. Who yes, have a LOT of privilege when it comes to mate selection bc they are conditioned to feel that they are the epitome of beauty. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 03:49 PM
How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?but wait, what’s stopping the men from succeeding in college and failing their studies though? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 03:45 PM
How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?Hmmm idk, women’s choices in terrible men are often dismissed as “Daddy Issues.” | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 03:42 PM
How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?Honestly, I completely agree. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 03:39 PM
How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?Jesus christ. I’m sorry you had to deal with that. Truth is, there are women and people who struggle with emotional regulation when it comes to this topic the same way there are men and other people who struggle with emotional regulation when it comes to other topics. | 1 | How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?Actually, in a lot of the women spaces I’ve been in, and my myself - I would find it very sad to meet a woman who feels she needs a relationship. Even you just saying what they said to you really pissed me off. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 03:25 PM
How do we decouple the unspoken idea that a woman’s sexual selection of a man is a form of cosmic justice that rewards him for being a good man?So, I completely understand where you’re coming from. Yet, when we speak of a man deserving a woman that does X for him - this is a notion that history is saturated with. A woman’s agency and being able to choose her partner is still a relatively recent concept. Whereas for men, there is an entire history of subjugation and oppression behind “deserving” a woman that does X for you. I think that’s why some people respond very strongly to that idea. They feel that most men’s desires and standards … | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/25 03:21 PM
