You know, this is the sort of thing that reinforces my beliefs as a feminist. I don't think women should get better treatment in divorce cases, and I certainly think a woman who commits a crime should get the same punishment as a man who commits the same crime. Sex and gender shouldn't decide treatment; actions should. Equality isn't a pick-and-choose issue, it's across the board - for the positive and the negative.
