Set a very specific date up, like "Let's eat some burgers on Thursday at 2" or "I have to go to the mall and buy some pants on Friday at 3, you're comming with me right?" I am very new to all this, so I'm a bit unsure myself, but you have to be extremely assertive. You have to be the one in charge! i normally wouldnt because i know that most girls are just trolling for drinks. i used it as a way to get her number. Did you, or did you not buy her a drink? DO NOT DO THIS. Edit: I can think of one exception to this rule, if you make more than $500,000 year, and have a +1 million dollar severance package.

I think you're missing the point of seddit a bit. You need to not think in terms of a single target, if he is not responding to you, just move on and try some other people/things. The clingy/desperation vibe may be making him a bit distant. As far as this particular FR, I suppose try and be more alpha by setting very specific dates/times and not worrying if he responds.
